It all depends on the port system. I have the last two lenses you listed, and I have tried them both with the Sea&Sea D3 housing and 8" port. I was unable to get sharp corners with the 14-24 (as it cannot use screw-in front mount diopters to improve corner sharpness). Part of the problem I was experiencing may be because the port extension might not have been right either. I can tell you the 16mm fisheye had no problem with corner sharpness with the 8" dome port (did not require a port extension). I don't have the 14mm, so I cannot say how that works.

I am thinking of housing a D700 so I have been very interested in all of this.

The 16mm works very well, although I prefer the Sigma 15mm because of its close focus. I have two Nikon 16mm, but don't think that the lens is as good as the 10.5mm is on DX. Hopefully Nikon will introduce a new version of the 16mm for their FX cameras.
The rectilinear lenses are much harder to get working well. Corner sharpness can be difficult to achieve. Looks OK for on screen viewing, less forgiving in print. The 14-24mm is an awesome lens on land, though.
