Ikelite G9 housing info

I am working toward an experiment with G9 housing and could use some help.

I need to know the difference in length between the 'regular' port for an Ikelite G9 housing and the 'short' port for using wide angle lens additions.

Called Ike and they do not have the data with those answering phones.

Could an owner of both be kind enough to send me a PM with the length difference? I will list here when I have the data.

I am working toward cutting the barrel of the G9 housing on the Canon OEM housing but need to know how much to cut. Since the Ike seems to work with wide angle, seems like that difference shorter would be good.

Comments or suggestions?

Still needing a 'no longer in use' canon oem housing at reasonable cost - any camera - to do the first testing. Hoping to come up with a way to alter the canon OEM barrel easily at low cost.
