  4. Though I like the shot showing us what to look for, the now that is more like it :P Was this the last trip with the D700?

  5. They were taken with the D700, 10-17 and 1.4TC. Set at 10mm (unintentionally in my excitement) so corner vignettes are cropped.

One more set at 17mm. You can see the frikkin parasites...... sharp enough?

Thanks folks. A little funny story here, almost did get away. I was crashed out on my bunk after our second dive of the day. Two deep dives on air and I was passed out. The boat was on the way to the last dive of the trip, when the captain yelled out 'Whaleshark'. I jumped up all groggy, grabbed my rig, mask and fins and wetsuit and I'm in the water. Swam around with this guy for about 5 mins snapping away, when all of a sudden I looked at my LCD and saw the word 'Demo' in red, meaning I had forgotten to put my card in the camera after downloading at lunch time. Needless to say I was quite pissed off.

Fortunately I managed to get back on the boat and put a card in, and we followed the guy and then had another 10 minutes or so of play time with him before he said goodbye and headed down into the depths.

So I got lucky, to say the least. Here he is heading out.
