Sony PMW-EX3 - Who plans/builds a housing ?

I'd rather prefer an EX-1 for UW-use in this class but the company I'm working for insists on buying the EX-3 for combo use.

Any hint highly appreciated,

also,

cannot reach Gates' website from Europe, I'm redirected to a parkingsite, did I miss somthing, has it changed, is the site available within the US?

I believe Equinox has a housing for the EX3. Can't say much about it since I have used an Equinox housing for years.

I heard a rumour Amphibico were considering... however the camp seams pretty quiet.

The only manufacturer I heard that was working on a housing for the EX3 was Amphibico. That was the word a few months ago, but have not seen or heard anything since. Ill check with Erik at Equinox to see if one of their housings will accommodate the EX3. I know the HD10 is for the EX1...but dont think it will fit the EX3

The HD 10 was the original housing that was intended to fit the EX3. We have since released the HD PRO housing for the EX3. Please let me know how I can help. Just wanted to clarify that we do make a housing for the EX3.

Yes Amphibco are making a housing for the EX3 and it looks pretty cool, no external LCD needed..

I'll make a post with pics about it.
