  1. great post!

  2. Hi,

    Non geographically sorted!

    Ras Mohamed

    Two mile Reef, Sodwana Bay

    Cathedral, Aliwal Shoal

    Raggie Cave, Aliwal Shoal

    SS Vigsnes, Liverpool Bay

    Sistema Dos Ojos, Yucatan

    Daedelus

Farne islands (on a good seal day!)

    SS Norman Court, Menai Bridge

    SS Produce, off Durban

The Gardens (Sharm el Sheikh (I've seen Mantas and whale sharks there!))

    Anywhere on Cozumel

And a few more spots without names-the hours that I spent somewhere in the Indian Ocean with a lot of Mantas for example!

    Adam

  3. Ha Ha,

The toughest part is I reckon JB is just plumping up a 'wish list' for presentation to say an editor so that he can get to a bucket load of more exotic locations funded by my (our) subscriptions to a certain dive magazine.

Please, tell us it not true John - are we really just offering up suggestions (sponsoring) your next round the world junket ? ( and can I carry your bags if so? ).

    Paul C

Ha Ha! I am having to trawl through my archives to find existing pictures. There IS a recession in the UK but probably NOT in the Channel Islands (UK, that is).

  4. For me it would be:

    Darwin Arch - Galapagos

    Manuelita ( night dive ) - Cocos

    Alcyone - Cocos

    Dirty Rock - Cocos

    Nudi Falls - Lembeh

    Shark/Yolanda - Egypt

    Little Brother - Egypt

    Kuredu Express - Maldives

    Manta point - Komodo

    Baracuda Point - Sipadan

But if you asked me the same question again next month it might be slightly different, Darwin Arch will always be top of the list though.

    Stew

  5. My choice:

    - Blue Corner Palau

    - Peleliu Palau

    - Barracuda point Sipadan

    - Richelieu Rock Thailand

    - Similan Island Thailand

    - Mile channel Yap

    - Cannibal Rock Komodo

    - Ras Mohammed Sharm el Sheikh

    - Bunaken

    - Lembeh

So many other top dive sites...

  6. Diving for the discovery, anywhere.

    One place though....

Mid June, Capo Testa, Sardinia, just you and your buddy heading out and around the cape in a RIB, dropping the anchor and jumping into the sapphire blue and just exploring, no dive site maps. The steel on your back you've just pumped from a tiny compressor and the possibility that no-one has dived where you are right now.

    Richard

  7. Number one on my list would have to Cape Kri in the Raja Ampat, everything else pales by comparison....

  8. My number 1 would be Richelieu Rock (when the star attraction is around) or a Koh Bon night dive,Similan Islands. :P

    Travy

  9. #1 Atlantis Resort, Bahamas

    #2 Sandals Resort, Caribbean

    #3 Hilton Wakiki, Honolulu

    and of course...

    #4 Sea World, San Diego

  12. I have taken everyone's top 10 list and put them into excel and it is searchable by country, dive site, water/area, and region. Is there a way I can get someone to build a link so people can continue to add to it?

    Thanks,

    James
