  2. Great pictures Alex - almost make me want to get my camera out over here.

Some very dodgy fillings in that first one.....

  3. With a wash and wax that VW will look like brand new!

  4. Think the wash cycle has been taken care of.

  9. Inspirational shots, Alex. Must try to get into the drysuit a bit more often. Maybe next spring.......

  10. Beautiful pics. I love the seal shot. I'm curious how you lit that? Were you using a compact dome port? It's amazing how well it's lit and yet so close. Great stuff. The VW is pretty cool with the light inside as well.

  11. Very nice mix! I particularly like the lighting in the VW and this one:

I have been planning to get an additional slave flash to try to experiment with creative lightning, a bit like you do here. I've had doubts about the reach of the trigger though. Did you use a light or flash to achive this?

    Cheers

  15. A great year Alex, some lovely shots there ^_^

  16. good stuff Alex, i also like the trout ^_^ almost looks like a mangrove shot.

I always get a weird kick from seeing cuttle fish in cold water

  17. Nice shots!!

I especially like to see salmonids. However, I would rather see your native species. The head-on shot of the brown trout for example. ^_^

    Hi Tom,

I had a quick look on Flickr, love your shoots. Have you had a chance to photograph a salmon shark underwater or is it even possible. Looking forward to your reply.

    Kind regards,

Thanks. No, but it is possible. The Blue Planet salmon shark footage was shot near here. I was there.
