I have the Panasonic Lumix 12X photo/video camera. I was very suprised by the quality of the HD video.
I always tought that i needed 2000 lumens (1000 on each sides) to do a good job.
Do i need that much, do i need more?
I am only intrested in the video mode.

Not sure if anyone discussed the video mode lighting before for that camera, but there have been some discussions on Lumens
Primer on Lumens
Searching lumens also brings up many threads, but did not find one on the Panasonic (could have missed it), but there is some real good information to go through on those.
I am always of the opinion you can never too much light, as long as you can dial it down Of course some of the decision will be budget/travel portability based also....
