  2. Hi Alex !!

Thank You for the comment that I have wayted for quite a while - finally we get something to improve here!!

You'r oppinions and toughts are worth a lot to me and maybe help some other WetPixies as well to think more outside the box.

I think Your idea of improving the backlit anemone shot with a diver holding a flashlight is GREAT. Tough the conditions would probably not have been good enough for that, the idea never crossed my mind. :)

There are some good ideas but need some need more refinement. You have to consider why you are lighting a subject a certain way. So that the lighting is consistent with the story/message/image you are trying to communicate in your photographs. It is not just a case of finding a subject and marrying it up with any funky lighting technique that you choose. As Ansel Adams said "There is nothing worse than a sharp image of a fuzzy concept."

That said it is important to continually experiment with different ways of lighting subjects. Seeing how and learning how different lighting effects are achieved. This will give you ideas for how to use the techniques to create those finished concepts.

I think You just ended my "childhood" as somewhat ignorant UW picture snapper and gave me the urge to pursue something more than just "pretty shots". :)

I better have it and not use it, than need it and not have it :)
