Schooling fish Safari late availability

  1. Hi all,

I've got some late availability for a week safari on Snapdragon, leaving Sharm on 4th July.

I've just been out with the boat for two weeks and it is a great boat. More importantly, the flexible itinerary ensures that you are in the right place to get great pictures! The plan for this charter is to get in amongst the schools of fish forming off Ras Mohamed and follow the action. Local sources tell me the schools are already forming, so it promises to be a good one!

Cost is 770 Euro/£750, which includes all diving, food etc.

Some images from my trip are here and on Wetpixel here

Please feel free to contact me at info@adamhanlon.com, or pm me!

The schools certainly are there at the moment. I came back from there on Sunday. Shark and Yolanda Reefs at Ras Mo had huge shoals of snappers and bat fish. I understand that the peak in meant to be on the new moon next week but I am not authority on such things.

  3. Full moon is June 26th, which I'd expect to be the peak. But usually the fish are in big numbers a few weeks either side (your observation confirms this, Daniel).

Good luck filling the space, Adam. I am sure it will be a great trip.
