Bob, the pufferfish is magnificent! What equipment were you using?
-
You should know - 60mm in Aquatica + twin Z220's
All fulframe unless stated different.
-
Not bad for film.hahaha

-
Well, the housing has a good pedigree...
-
Can't remember whether I was using your old one or the other old one

I love the texture of this dwarf lionfish - Almost leathery.
-
But don't get crabby

-
Nice one!
-
Yellow tipped pixie hawkfish - For Todd, he was laughing his ass off watching me trying to get this little bugger to keep still with a 105 poking at it!
-
Confrontation...
-
Bob, I hate to sound like your personal cheerleader, but I love that last one!
-
Here's a trumpet just in case

Do you have a BB connection?
-
Sorry Craig... Couldn't find one in a can this year

-
Not-so tiny Seahorse for a change - This one's over a foot long.
-
Got nothing but hate for you, Bob. Between the awesome shot of the Puffer and the Hawkfish actually looking at the camera, it's the finest of hate. Nice job!
I've taken tons of shots of Hawkfish and they ALWAYS come out looking at my strobes. What's your secret? Now stop harassing those fish over in the Pacific and come shoot some Florida fish! We've got most of those here anyways...
-
Thanks for the Hate Laz... A friend of yours maybe - Even my loud suit was no match for this Panda Anemonefish's fangs!
-
They use those fangs! One of them tried to take my fingers off when I was shooting a couple of shrimps near his home.
-
Bob that puffer is STUNNING. The rest are only outstanding though.

-
I was laughing my ass off on that pixie alright. Turned out I should be crying as that is a great shot. Not a bad collection of shots, for you. Heck I thought you slept most of the trip.

This is the best I was able to get of that same pixie. (and in no way compares to yours)

And I must have encountered that same fish Herb did. The problem with shutter lag, we would need all day to try to get that last shot. It would be a very frustrating experience.
Laz, I have dove in Florida and Bahamas alot and I do certainly enjoy it. And, I do agree there is a lot of stuff to find. But, to compare it to Lembeh and Indonesia is a stretch. The volume in Indonesia is crazy. (Don't get me wrong I have plans to return to Florida and Bahamas again (In-laws live in Ocala)

If you think Pixies are hard to get front-on, Try your luck with one of these things
