  1. what's that "L" thing in front of the price? :D

  2. It stands for "'L'ots of money" at the current exchange rates ;-)

How about joining "Euroland" Bob? ;-)

  3. $450.00 E375.

  4. More pictures added now

  5. Is this a "non-smoker" dry-suit?

    James

  6. HAHAHAHA

    Nice James. :D

    James

    YES!

  8. Besides, I could never get them to light underwater :D

  9. James take special note that there was also a pee valve. Also a good thing in this situation. He's not as young as he used to be :D

If you feel so sorry for me you can just pass the cameras as I need them and pull me along too!

  11. No problem just bring the single malt Lagavulin and I'd be happy to drag you around. You used to be pretty good on air as I remember it. (Just think if you didn't smoke...you would never have to come up)

  12. I think it must be a smoking variety, it comes with a "torch holder". Man, you've got more valves than a washing machine on that thing...

Haven't see a manual dump with a string on it like that before.

    Jack

  13. Yes Jack, I designed the suit myself, and having had a major valve freeze up once; I decided to shorten the odds by sticking the manual large diameter pull-dump on (BCD type). I can then control rapid ascents in the unlikely event of. Far more practical than controling an ascent with your neck seal, and drier too!!!

Good thing about the suit too, is it's hardly detectable whilst wearing it UW, ooo comfy.

  14. Ahh you fart in the drysuit too...(rapid ascents) :D

  15. There's a valve for that too!

  16. Ahh you fart in the drysuit too...(rapid ascents) :D

There was a long discussion on this issue in the ba_diving yahoogroup awhile back. Rapid ascent is not an issue because the gas has the same volume in your body before its exit. The problem is this "butox" is not as good an insulator as argon because of the lower molecular weight of methane.

What do you expect from a bunch of Tech divers in Sillicon Valley.

  17. Thanks Herb I needed a laugh.

  18. is that Buddy Commando Style 'DEATH ASSCENT' holster and filler valve too ?

man and i thought those things were dangerously dumb on BCD's ... have you manually altered you ND suit to take one ?

oh no sorry its an argon holster ... does that really make a difference in cold water .. the old inert gas and all ?

  19. No it was built into the original design.

Argon: Yes, as Herb pointed out, it has better insulating properties than fartrox, and doesn't kill anyone opening the suit later.
