Inon z240 type4 strobe explosion

  1. I'm wondering about replacing my Sea & Sea YS-110a's with Inon Z-240's. It's not clear from this thread whether the battery compartment is sealed or not. Can anyone clear that up?

    On my 240ies the battery compartment is sealed. I have flooded it once, but could continue shooting the next day after rinsing the battery compartment with alcohol. The batteries were gone, though.
