Nobody said you can't get great underwater shots with a 15mm fisheye. But take that lens topside, and especially inside a building (with straight lines) and you'll be wanting that 12-24DX. You said cost isn't an important factor for you so it seems to me that the 12-24DX wins the "all round most versatile WA lens" award.

So James did you ebay your 12-24dx since you got your new full frame body? I have got so much going on ebay this week that if everything sells (including my S2) I should have enough for that lens and another d70 body for my wife to shoot with. Been getting rid of my consummer grade lenses and just going to get pro-like glass from now on. I am going to stick with the 12-24dx and hopefully Ryan will bring one of those fisheyes down to LC in September and I can play around with it. I think the uses of the topside of that lens wins out James and your shots underwater really show how it shines, I hope I can do half as good.

Too late critter - someone else beat you to it.
Thanks for the kudos though - much appreciated.

Kasey, I used a UR PRO for that shot. Everything else auto. Auto WP & Aperture priority. I was at a depth of about 25ft. Peter (the unaware model) was at a depth of about 33ft where he was doing comparison tests between an Oly 4040 with and without UR PRO and a D100 with a UR PRO.
The results will be in UWP 20 and the before and after shots are pretty amazing.
