He/she was using the emails: millerdennis605@gmail.com, jeweldennis9@gmail.com, dennisngari09@gmail.com

Once again, please be very wary of folks offering goods via PM in response to want ads.

Again, thanks to our amazing community, we can identify "trybedoor" as a Nigerian scammer! (Banned 17/02/2023)

He/she shares an IP address with "Wayneburns" who uses the email address burneswayne735@gmail.com

Too late for me, the amount of the scam wasn’t excessive (about $270), just my pride was really damaged

Thanks Adam, I’m going to be much more careful with Venmo

trybedoor tried luring me into an item for sale by another user. Luckily, I already bought what I was looking for. Since trybedoor is banned, I can't find the message pointing me to the (scammer?) listing. It was for a 45 degree viewfinder, so proceed cautiously.

Another confirmed scammer - Patrick Hussre

Be very wary of anybody offering goods via a third party:

"Babs has Nauticam N120 140mm Dome for sale in good condition Here’s his email babsgeorge01@gmail.com"

The scammer's email is patrickhussre@gmail.com and he/she was using a VPN

This is unfortunate. Im glad I saw this before buying something..... Terrible.

Is Meyersxx@outlook.com a scam as well...?

Short answer is yes

Hi,

Patrick Hussre as well as trybedoor are SCAMMERS and also tried to sell me items from the same third party email adresses.

Patrick Hussre tried to sell me a seacam spare battery via third party babsgeorge01@gmail.com. What made me suspicious was that he wrote he is UK based and asked as currency USD for the item.

trybedoor tried to sell me a Nauticam to Seacam Port Adapter via thid party Meyersxx@outlook.com. He even sent me pictures of the adaptor.

Because of the warnings of WETPIXEL ADMIN I didn't respond not further. THANKs very much  WETPIXEL TEAM.

Br Markus

Thank you - yep he tried it and failed with me

Babs has Zoom ring Nikon 18-55 for Subal housing for sale in good condition Here’s his email babsgeorge01@gmail.com

THAT IS A SCAM! It's the same guy as Patrick Hussre

User Coughlan contacted me about selling a Kraken KRL-09s but refused to use paypal. Afterwards I checked the images of the lens he sent me and they were actually from a post on here of someone selling the lens. Pays to be extra careful.

Coughlan is banned. His/her email is bencoughlan6@gmail.com.

All the IP addresses are Nigerian!

@hyp- Can you share the email he/she was using too?

Same email. Bencoughlan6@gmail.com. Although I made sure to use a hidden icloud email address with him, so he didn‘t get mine.
