I've been inundated with e-mails since the D2X was announced. Clearly a lot of pent-up demand for housing this camera. This is my standard response:
We share your excitement over the D2X. In fact, in anticipation that the long-awaited D2X would be similar to the D2H, Seacam has long been working on the housing. Now the project is in high gear since the D2X has been announced with a near identical configuration to the D2H.
Naturally, Mr. Harald Hordosch will have to have a D2X in his hands to complete the final fit, but you can expect that the D2X will be available from Seacam much quicker than is normal in the development of a premium housing like this.
Hope this clarifies the issue for at least this particular housing.
