Was thinking of trying some of the super macro when we are able to get back in the water. Based on my research the CMC-1 can work well with the 60 but was hoping it might work with the 105 to try and limit my purchases at this time until I have tried it. Can the CMC-1 be used with the 105 and the crop sensor D500 camera?

It is not ideal for use with the 105mm, but excellent on the 60mm with the D500....
The design is for use with lenses of around 60-70mm focal length

You can see they don't list data for the CMC-1 on the 105mm.
