  2. Nice collection of shots Laz.....I'm struck by the variety that you find.....BTW, what's the water temp?.....a Wetpixel group is going with the Abernathy's in two weeks ot photograph sharks in the Bahamas....5mil?

    Karl

  3. Thanks, Karl.

Water temp in the Keys has been in the 71-74 degrees range. It's gonna be colder in Palm Beach. Most northerners who come down here to dive are beginning to wear their .5mm skins but us Florida cold water wussies are wearing our 5-7mm with hood.

Have a wonderful trip and be careful.

  5. I'm really jealous - a Painted Elysia!!!! Way to go.

We haven't been able to find any nudibranchs up our way since the hurricanes. It has been very frustrating.

    Great shots! Linda

  6. Thanks for the nice compliment, Linda. That means a lot coming from the Jedi Nudibranch Master herself. :D

That Painted Elysia is a little old, though - probably from late last year. My web site REALLY needs some updating. I found that nudi by pure chance. I was doing some wide angle shots of a school of grunts in Key Largo and the bright colors of that little fella really stood out on the algae covered coral right below me. Those little nudibranchs are out there. We'll find them again. I have a feeling they're hiding in Crocodile Lake. :(
