Nikon 17-55 DX w/Aquatica housing

Anyone know what extension ring I would need with this lens when used with an 8" dome. Can't find it on their lens chart

I haven't setup this lens in an Aquatica housing yet, but in a Subal we use a 70mm Extension Ring. HTH

Yeah, I am. I was looking at the 18-70 but I think I would eventually get the 17-55 or 17-35 for the faster speed - I do some sports stuff. I'm not sure I want to get close enough to the big boys to fill the frame with the 10.5.

You are welcome to try out my 18-70....I'm planning on using the 12-24 and the 15 the most....

Hey guys - an autofocus question for you on the 17-55 versus the 18-70. I have rad several topside reviews that suggest that the faster aperature on the 17-55 enables it to autofocus much more suredly in low and changing light levels than the slower 18-70. Any experience with this?
