Tha last two pics are just awesome. Great photos.
Thanks very much for sharing.

Thanks guys.
I should have added a few notes:
All of the topside images were shot with a Nikon D2h and either a 24-120VR or an 85 1.4 lens.
The U/W stuff was shot with my Fuji S2/Aquatica/Nikon SB105 setup. The wide-angle diver and the wolfish were taken using a Sigma 15FE and the two nudis were with the Nikon 105 macro.
Diving in this area is challenging but the marine life is awesome. Dives must be timed to coincide with slack tide and even then the current can be unpredictable. Visibility is rarely more than 15 ft with lots of suspended particulate so wide angle shooting is difficult (although that doesn't seem to keep me from trying.) The macro opportunities are world class if you can deal with the conditions
Nudis are fantastic Larry.
I'm amazed at the similarities to B.C. Canada life. Wolfish, Those rose colored anemones and the nudibranchs. The second topside shot really catches the mood of a cool morning. Great pics.

Hi Rand,
I aggree, the similarities are amazing considering that these are different oceans a continent apart.
Beautiful photos, Larry!!! I'm heading to Deer Island in a week for a few days - my first time there since the "hurricane" of Victoria Day weekend in May. Only got in 1 dive in 4 days due to the hideous weather:(
Next time throw an urchin at the wolffish - I'll bet he opens wide to catch it!!!
Kim
Very nice Larry, i too really like that sunset and red boat.
Ahh, Canada....what a great place!
Thanks Mike. Actually, the red fishing boat was in Lubec, Maine but the background is Canada.
Is this what you had in mind Kim. Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Hmm, pretty good - now move around so that the camer is looking down its throat for an extra bit of fear from the non-divers who look at it!!!!
Cheers,
Kim
