PNG Photos from Febrina last week

  1. Trust me, it sucks to spend every night for a week having to compare your photos to the ones Eric Cheng gets!!! It gets very depressing very quickly!!!

We were on Febrina out of Kavieng, PNG last week along with wetpixeler Dave Patchen. Definitely a great trip and one I'd recommend to anyone who hasn't been to PNG. My only complaint was that the captain was relatively new to diving the Kavieng area as they are usually farther south and the dives in the channels could have been timed better to coincide with an incoming tide for more pelagics. However, I'm sure that problem will go away with a little more experience in the area.

Here are a couple of my shots from the week and a link to others:

  2. I really like the lighting on the first shot.....a different perspective of a relatively common subject....well done

BTW, when I hit one of your shots on your website for an enlarged view....I don't get anything??????

I would love to see the bigger versions

  3. Nice pics. For some strange reason, my favorite is #11.

    What camera are you using?

  5. I'm shooting a digital rebel with either the 18-55mm standard lens or a 100mm macro.

Karl, you can usually disable your popup blocker by holding down the Ctrl key and then clicking or double-clicking on the image.

  6. Awesome pictures! I really like the WA clownfishes, especially the one posted here.
