Lady Musgrave Is Sept 2005

  1. Hi There,

I have survived my camping trip to Lady Musgrave Is (~80klms east of Gladstone) and now I am back at work wondering what the hell am I doing here <_< . The two weeks camping on the Island didn't seem long enough but things do have to end. The weather was perfect and the days generally finished with sunset drinks on the beach and on most days the migrating whales would also put on a show for us :) . I have attached a link to my website which has a selection of photographs from the trip.

I cant imagine camping while diving/photographing. But it sound like you had a great time, and you took some great shots at the same time.

I have to ask. Is this diver crawling on the reef?

  3. Hi, the diver in the background is resting on the floor :) which I normally make sure that any divers with me do not do. In this particular case I did not scold the diver as the area was on the most part dead coral washed of the reef edge, the bottom in the photo was 25-28m with the odd patch of healthy coral as can be seen with the sea snake. I did talk to the diver when back on the surface though. <_<

  4. Great gallery. Is the snake a sea crate?

  5. Its an Olive Sea Snake, reasonably common on the Great Barrier Reef
