Nauticam Wet Lens On Other Systems
You are correct it is the wwl1c for the canon rf24-50. (With the 27mm port). Seems a popular configuration with canon FF shooter who like wet system. If indeed Marelux doesn’t have a port for this lens (yet?), then I am wondering what the zoom lens 60622 would be for… But my other question is, if Marelux wants to push its own wet lens, is this going to be a Sony play and canon FF would have to use what is available (from apsc) ? Which wouldn’t be compelling!

Nauticam Wet Lens On Other Systems
@Phil Rudin Thank you! I understand the goal to support Marelux Wet Lens. If they can be proven any close to the WLL, this would be awesome! But Canon shooters are still facing a challenge outside of Nauticam! Especially FF... Not sure what the RF-s 18-45 would do with an R5, but even if the 24-50 is a low-end lens, it seems this is the only one which work at this point with a wet system (again as in Nauticam). I was told the 60222 zoom gear is soon available for the RF24-50 ? This is key for a Marelux decision, assuming there is a way to get it with a proper port, and at least some testing with an Aquista wet lens. There seems to be a decent number of Marelux Ambassadors using the R5 and R5ii, and I have seen the test from Masa Biru with the 18-45 (I think), but again, using a FF lens for a FF system should be best, shouldn't it ?

Nauticam Wet Lens On Other Systems
Yes, it works for Sony. Not yet for Canon. They mentioned they might support a zoom gear for the RF 24-50, but without a confirmed date yet. Then the type of port to accomodate that lens with the WLL1c will need to be checked, so this doesn't seem to be for tomorrow!

Nauticam Wet Lens On Other Systems
Phil, @Phil Rudin What about canon? If there is now a Marelux zoom gear for the RF24-50, it seems possible to adapt the WLL-1c? Any hint on required adaptor and port ? Will the new Aquista an alternative to the wll1? Thx.

Marelux MX-R6II and Canon R6 Mark II
@ColdDarkDiver Do you mind sharing what lens and dome you are using for video? (Rf 14-35 f4, 230mm ?) Thx.

canon mirrorless shooter (not using nauticam): dome(s), BBAF position, etc.
I was wondering if indeed the 140mm was a total no go, but these pictures clearly show that would work in the blue. 👍🏻👍🏻

Thank you so much for all answers! Super useful. I am also planning to test the use of the canon RF 1.4x tel with the 8-15 and and com lite adapter. As I am using it for other zoom lens, would be good not to have to buy the kenko. The more I dig, the more marelux looks attractive !

Video with 8-15mm Fisheye and 140 dome
Thank you Chris! I originally really liked the flexibility of the wet WLL for multiple video shots. But no one but Nauticam offers the rf24-50 lens gear. I have the 8-15 and trying to figure out if I can use it for everything or if it’s too naive, even with a 1.4. I can indeed crop mode (canon r5 II) … some tests needed before I pull the trigger for the WA config(s?) !

canon mirrorless shooter (not using nauticam): dome(s), BBAF position, etc.
I need a bit of help from canon shooters to converge on housings (except Nauticam, that i know), until i find a way to test them in real life, at least on land. I have an R5ii, but it guess it applies to most Rxx. 1) How are the position and friendliness of the 2 (or 3) AF buttons (AF-on, * , and [-]) on Marelux, Isotta, Ikelite and Sea&Sea (if someone has one yet?) 2) Anyone found a solution to use a single dome for canon 8-15 and a rectilinear (like the RF 14-35) which is not the 230mm ? How bad would the 8-15 look with a 170 or 180 dome (compared tot 140 assuming the curvature of this one is the best?) ? 3) Anyone using the 8-15 with the canon RF 1.4x teleconverter instead of the Kenko (with the hack on the commlit EF-RF converter) ? 4) How complicated it would be to 3D print a zoom gear for the canon RF 24-50 lens for non Nauticam housing ? (to eventually use the WLL1)

Video with 8-15mm Fisheye and 140 dome
Thanks for the video and the comments about this. I am also debating what to do about video with the 8-15. I really like to have this lens with a small dome, but what to do for video... Would using the 1.4 teleconverter allow video shooting when zooming to 18-21mm ? Or is the only option is two lens ... and two domes as the 140mm doesn't work with the (canon RF) 14-35mm rectilinear lens !

Canon EF 8-15 f/4L Fisheye 1.4x Teleconverter FOV Degrees
I understand why the Kenko 1.4x is being used with the ef 8-15 due to the mount. But assuming there is a somehow reliable way to use an ef to rf converter accepting the canon RF 1.4x, like described here: Would it be an option to use the canon rf 1.4x instead of the kenko? Anyone seen or done it?
