  1. @Chris Ross Thanks for all of the detailed information and the links. I may have an opportunity to buy a Nauticam rig from a user that already has done the hard work of getting the 8-15 set up. If that falls through I may look into Isotta more. I didn't realize how large their port is.

@Igor Ledo Lizarraga Sorry, forgot to tag you.

  3. @Chris Ross I've been looking into fisheye options more and the Canon 8-15 is quite intriguing, as well as the Tokina 10-17. Did you also consider the latter and what was your reason for going with the Canon? Thanks!

Also interested if a deal with ACHiPo doesn't work out.

  7. Thank you everyone for your input on OM-1 setups. I do already have the 60mm macro and will definitely get a port for that. Currently trying to decide if I want to go straight for the 8mm FE or use the 12-42 and a wet wide lens. There is an Isotta for sale on scubaboard and although I hate how it looks it's an attractive option. @TimG I read your post about the liveaboard fire. I'm so sorry you experienced that but glad that everyone made it out safely. Thank you for sharing though, your words are an important warning to many of us.
  8. I was in Socorro in Jan and here's how I did back rolls with a camera. Fold the strobe arms in and tether it to a D-ring on my shoulder strap (just in case). Pull the camera into my chest with left arm and wrap that arm around it. Further hug the camera with right elbow and bicep. Right hand on mask & reg. Worked fine for me and I think I'll continue to use this method for all back rolls instead of having the camera handed down.
  9. I tried to learn DarkTable and it continuously kicked my butt. Kudos to those who have mastered it.
  10. Is it still impossible to get a new account approved?
  11. Thanks Tim! I'd like to hear your thoughts on choosing Nauticam over AOI and what lenses you've been enjoying shooting underwater. The only lens I have right now that is appropriate for underwater is the 60 mm macro.

  13. Hi all. I've been diving for about 4 years and shooting underwater for probably 3. I use a TG-7 but have an OM-1 for topside photography that I'm looking to get a housing for. Here's an album of some of my favorites I've taken with the TG-7
