  1. For Sale $2,200.00 San Francisco, CA, USA

FOR SALE: Seacam Seaflash 160Digital Strobe Pair (SKU sc-510160, Nikon/Canon) + Accessory Kit — $2,200 [San Francisco pickup option, or continental US…

  2. (have been using EMWL regularly for 2 years) we considered the reverse viewfinder. upside is more compact setup. downsides are dedicated rig essentially (you will have to switch the viewfinder when switching lenses). and you cannot go regular macro to emwl underwater which is one nice feature to have on some dives. we did use a monitor for a while - that enables you to flip the image back and forth - while still having a relatively compact rig (you do have the monitor on top). at then end we ended up diving only the 'classic' emwl setup with relay lens and angled view finder.
  3. have been using the think tank mind shift first light for many years - looks casual (doesn't scream "photo gear inside") and has a lot of space - especially a nice depth to it. travelled to many continents - has passed in pretty much all places for carry on. there are two options - 35l which will definitely go pretty much anywhere - and 45l which is more of a US airline version. it's been sturdy and protective while relatively light.
  4. we do a lot of shore diving with the EMWL - attach the focus unit on the housing (with no cover - the glass is recessed and pretty well protected) - and have the relay with the lens attached in my pocket. once we are in a safe spot we assemble it and flush all connections (there are tiny bubbles in there as well as sand in our case).
  5. Friends - finally moved over from Wetpixel... Avid cold water diver from North California - excited to be back!
