Been away from UW photography for a about a decade but before the hiatus, I did manage to combine my people-focused photography with the underwater world and shoot a few stories about people working under the surface. E.g. the Korean Sea Women, a piece on a marine archaeology expediting in Japan but mostly I just snapped pics of my freediving friends.
Then everything turned into bikini shoots for social media and I bowed out.

Now, since I have the ocean near me, a CNC mill in my workshop, some old Nikonos lenses and Subal domes and sometimes too much time to tinker, I am setting out to make my own housing. Ultra slim fit around an older A7, USB control in an external handle, no lights, nothing fancy. Just the smallest, lightest housing you can imagine so I might actually bother carrying it with me again:)
