Best Way to Mount a GoPro to a Nauticam Housing
I'm gonna give this a shot and see how it goes, it's a cheap solution and the easiest, if it fails in the long run ill go with the clamps. Thanks everyone!

Can a fisheye handle everything better than a wide angle zoom?
Here's an idea, a community-built chart listing ports, teleconverters, adapters, and more would be super useful! It could have compatibility details for different camera brands and gear, with contributions from members sharing their experiences.

Best Way to Mount a GoPro to a Nauticam Housing
And it will do okay in the saltwater? I could get an additional tether just in case. This is probably the easiest idea if it will last a long time. That's a good idea, can you recommend a brand of clamps, or is it best to stick with nauticam. Interesting idea. Two downsides I can think of are that it would be harder to see what the GoPro is filming and that the camera wouldn’t be able to sit properly when set down.

Best Way to Mount a GoPro to a Nauticam Housing
Thanks for the suggestion but I've been experimenting with the GoPro positioning and noticed that if it's mounted too low behind the dome, some of its vision gets blocked by the shade. The M10 Strobe Mounting Ball https://www.nauticam.com/products/m10-strobe-mounting-ball-for-housing This is a solution that would bring the gopro closer to the center, I would mount it the same way they do in the video, but it would need to be high enough for the full field of view. Another Idea after browsing etsy is to get a custom made mount and bolt it on the shade. Gopro Baseball Cap Mount - Etsy - this one might work just fine. Cookie G3/ G35/ G4 Dual Gopro Mount - Etsy

Best Way to Mount a GoPro to a Nauticam Housing
I don’t think the NA-R5 housing has a cold shoe mount, but if there’s a way to add one, that could be an option. So this is what I’m working with: an NA-R5 and a 170mm dome. I occasionally go through tight swim-throughs while freediving, so minimizing drag is important. I’m also thinking that mounting the GoPro directly on the dome will center its lens with the camera, rather than having it offset on a ball mount. If I use one and extend it toward the center of the camera, it will add to the overall size of the setup, which I’d like to avoid. At the end of the day, a little extra drag won’t be a dealbreaker, but I wanted to see if anyone had better ideas.

Best Way to Mount a GoPro to a Nauticam Housing
Hey everyone, I’m looking for a solid way to mount a GoPro to my Nauticam housing—ideally bolted directly onto the dome shade for a compact and secure setup. I’ve seen adhesive mounts used, but I’d be concerned about reliability in the long run. Has anyone here found a more secure, low-profile solution? Open to any suggestions! Thanks in advance.

Canon RF 35mm f/1.8 Macro IS STM
Does anyone know what extention would be needed for the zen 170mm Dome and the 35mm 1.8. And how would I calculate that in the future? Zen doesn't seem to have an RF port chart.

Canon RF 35mm f/1.8 Macro IS STM
I recently got a housing for my R5 and I happen to own the 35mm 1.8 Macro and 140mm dome, so I decided to try it out. I am happy with the performance and will be taking it out again. Here is a gallery with more and higher quality photos https://client.elijahaasand.com/L6MDMcGdbgiPh

Aloha From Kauai, I primarily freedive and shoot natural light. Currently I use a Canon 5DSR with a 8-15mm fisheye. I have just bought a used Nauticam housing for my R5, so I am excitingly waiting for that to arrive. - Aloha From Kauai
