Fiberoptic cable length for 2 person snoot use
Pretty much as long as you like, Doc. What you don’t use immediately is easily just coiled up by your strobe assistant. Pick a length… 3 feet, 4 feet…. Much depends on the lens and subject and whether yiu want the assistant in the pic too!

attach your dive computer to your camera?
I have a ULCS arm loaded with Stix floats horizontally across my housing. My dive computer straps on to that. It's very easy to read by just glancing up. And then if I'm diving without a camera - very rare! - I can just unbuckle the computer and wear it on my wrist. Sorry, traveling for work so can't post a photo.

Sony A7 advice
There are days when I'd like to take a hammer to my gear..... but happily not too often. I do agree though on not needing the biggest or best. I decided lugging FF gear around was beyond my nuisance threshold and moved back to an APS-C system. Not regretted it for a second.

Retra Strobes and equipment
Thanks Oskar. I've just retried with a set off freshly charged Eneloop batteries and the flicker had disappeared. So less than fully charged batteries may well have been the issue! My bad. I've updated my earlier post.

Adobe Lightroom
Nothing really significant on 13.2 that I noticed. There were all sorts of things in 13.0: altering the DOF, changes to the Mask options; impressive new De-noise option. I know LR has its critics (mainly on price and the subscription arrangement) but the way it has developed over the years and as a package with PS for less than £10 a month is, I think, a good deal - and I really hate the software subscription model and avoid it if at all possible.
