Yep, we adopted the 3 posts rule for Classifieds. Good you got there!
  2. Thanks. Added! We had Final Cut Pro in original I think, but it was edited to the lens version.
  3. Super idea for Bonaire. Yeah, high risk exit location indeed! Entry too. And such a brave comment on Mrs B's purse! 😱
  4. Mercy, there's an army of them!
  5. Have you tried adding up the cost of all the gear you take underwater!? I wouldn't drive my car underwater.... (well, I hope not anyway....) and my camera setup cost more. 🤣
  6. A case of suck it and see, I think. I watched fibre being installed to my apartment in Sint Maarten and that was WAY longer than 15ft so my guess is, not a problem! I don't think you can split a cable - or at least I've never heard or seen of one - but it's easy enough to drive 2 strobes from one bulkhead using one of the 2-hole Inons bushes. If one cable is essential, could you not use a slave trigger on the second strobe?
  7. Indeed it is. It's warning... don't come, you'll freeze.... 🥶
  8. Tell us more, John!
  9. There was a new firmware update today from Retra: v1.48 for Pro Max v3.15 for Pro X/Prime X v4.5 for Pro/Prime All on one update (certainly in the Apple Store - can't speak for the Android version) All updated fine, no problem, on my Pro Max. I did find that the slight flicker from the Pro Max pilot light when set to Manual is still there. Retra said sometime ago that that this was not an issue. I must admit though, I hope it disappears in a future update..... UPDATE: My bad, a fresh set of batteries (4x AA) and the flicker disappeared.....
  10. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 then I woke up. I think I said that after the Nikon D300, D800…… [continue filling in letters and numbers]
  11. Always listen to that voice from the Dark Side. You sleep better at night. 😋

Yay! Good man - thanks! Underwater course? In February? In Ireland? Man, that's brave!!! 🥶
  13. Hey Matthew! Good to have you with us. I'm sure you'll see lots of names here that you know from Wetpixel.
  14. Totally agree! I'm still using single spot for macro pics with my D500 focussing, usually, on the eye. It's not often that tracking would be that useful. Anticipation of movement is a technique that takes time but does work.
  15. As the guys say, my experience also has been that it's rare that servicing is needed. Good soaks after use, working the controls whilst rinsing to help flush out salt deposits, wiping over with a soft cloth and good storage between trips. I've had several housings (all Subals) for 5 years and they have had hundreds of dives on them without servicing or incident. The only time I have needed a service (a minor leak), I was living in the Caribbean and didn't send it back to the manufacturer (Subal) but had the job done at Reef Photo in Florida - which was quick and worked well. I think the "where" to send it depends to an extent also on where the manufacturer is located for ease of transport, the complexity of the housing build - and what is available more locally. The Subals are much simpler internally than Nauticam and are, I suspect, easier to service and for that reason I'd be happy to use a reputable service provider, like Reef Photo. Just taking the back off a Nauticam and looking at the internal parts makes me feel giddy and I think I'd be sending it back to them! That said, I'm sure someone like Reef or Backscatter or Onderwaterhuis could be relied upon.
  16. Hey René Welcome - great to have another Nederlander onboard. Welkom! Tim (I live in Amsterdam)

  21. Wicked! Great team editing and a super choice of music. Nice work, Mr and Mrs Ben!
  22. You got though there in the end, eh? Nice feeling of satisfaction? Surprise? Relief? 😅 I usually find getting them on is fine. Off can be a struggle. But then not just strobe bumpers.......
  23. Wow, this is indeed disappointing given the costs of the bags. I've not had problems with mine so far (fingers crossed) but this is not encouraging.
  24. It should indeed, Chris - thanks. I've not yet figured out though how to amend a thread title! I'll sort it out. Thanks for these. I'll add them.
