  1. Changed the link, I don't know from where I pasted it 😂 But on your response, is still the mistake 🤌
  2. Another update for the mission one adapter for inon lens Video
  3. Update! No, the Monster will not live, because the wide lens cannot work with the rectangular port, it needs a short port. So I had to decide between using all the zoom and the CMC-1, or having less zoom and the ability to swap between wide and macro wet lenses. I decided to keep the standard port for the L10 package, the rectangular one, and to keep using the GoPro + inon wide lens. So, I will shoot macro and normal fov with the L10, and wide with the GoPro ( and spending less than buying a Nauticam wide lens 😬) Now, do you have suggestions on how to mount the GoPro on top of the Nauticam case? I have ordered everything and next week I should have it, but I am already the thinking how to assemble everything 😬
  4. Well, a bit late, but for a period I didn't use the forum a lot. Here the answer for future readers I just attached to the tray (with a screw and nuts) a quick release arca swiss, that I can use to attach the tripod I'll attach 2 pictures of it so it will be clearer. I don't have the tray anymore, but that's not the important part 😁
  5. I am a bit late to the party, but here my pimped GoPro, for macro, super macro and wide 😁 Lenses: Inon G55 (super macro) Inon G165 (macro) Inon G140 (wide) Tray, main floater, clips and the 2 short arm from AliExpress (really cheap, but served me well for 3 years) 2 Arm floater with lens holders from inon Tripod from Joby (5k version) Torch DL08 from wurkkos Torch here On my Instagram you can see some of the results (I have that problem, the one that I like to shoot a lot of cool video, but edit just a small part of them 🫣) Insta: Elvandar
  6. I got the answer from AI, did not verify it, but makes a lot of sense, hope it helps: You need to tell your Olympus/OM System TG-series camera (TG-6, TG-7, etc.) that you're using an **FCON-T01** or **FCON-T02** fisheye converter lens in the menu because the camera uses this setting to apply the correct **optical corrections and zoom behavior** for that specific lens. ### Key point from Olympus documentation: > "When using the FCON-T02, change to settings appropriate for shooting with the converter: In Live Control's **Accessory Settings → Converter Name (Conversion Lens)**, select **[FCON-T02]**" [2] ### What happens if you don't set it: The biggest practical issue is **vignetting** (dark/black corners around your image) because the camera doesn't apply the distortion/vignetting correction specific to that fisheye lens [3]. You'll still get the fisheye effect mechanically, but the image quality degrades significantly at the edges.
  7. Maybe I could try to ask if it's possible to pair the flip system available for the rectangular N50 port, with a bayonet mount, so I could have the best video option from the L10, and also the interchangeability for the wet lens I don't know if with the rectangular flip system is not usable in combo with the wide lens, maybe because of a different distance of where the wet lens sit from the ports, or if it's just a physical size limitations, that do not allow flipping the wide lens. But if it's possible to combo the square flip lens + a bayonet mount adaptor, I would have solved my problem, having the possibility to change between wide, macro and no lens with no vignetting at all zoom distance I will ask to Nauticam if this monster is realizable and update here for future aspirant Frankenstein 😬
  8. I asked some information to Nauticam about the L10 case, and the compatibility with a bayonet N50 port, since I would like to have the option to change between super macro with the CMC-1, and wide scene with a wide wet lens, but this solution limits the zoom of the L10 to 30mm since the port is shorter. I got suggested an alternative, the canon R50 with the Nauticam case, which they have already available with the bayonet studied for a 18-45 optics (28/70 equivalent), and I like the fact that it allows natively to change between wide and macro, but I am not sure if the video spec are good as the L10, and I still have to do a good comparation on all the other characteristics Do you you have any point of view to help with the choice?
  9. Found two reel with the new adaptor for the mission 1 case, inon is testing it with the ZD lens https://www.instagram.com/reel/DZCh17ZDxvX/?igsh=eHBsa2Y4cnAya2hm https://www.instagram.com/reel/DZKr4TsvwtL/?igsh=MXhnOXZ6ajM1Z3h0ZA==
  10. Filming using the 5.6k 60p recording, could help with the post editing to gaming some zoom, instead of recording in 4k? I would lose the 120p available in 4k, but even now, with the GoPro, almost never film in more than 60p, since a lot of video does not need more than 1/2 slow
  11. This is raising my hope! I would love to be able to produce a video like this!
  12. Do you think that the L10 paired with a cmc-1 will be enough for a "Shaun the sheep" macro level? @kc_moses I am still trying to understand all the new parameters (for me) mm, dioptres etc.. coming from GoPro, I never really cared about a lot of those spec 🫠
  13. After reading the L10 post, I am almost convinced on going that route for the camera + the nauticam pro housing, since it will be officially available at the end of June, I will use this time to check the details and if there is any competitor that are valid to consider in this price range (~4000€) Any other advice from the forum will be appreciated meanwhile
  14. That's a supercool results! Does it work also starting from video?
  15. Thanks to all, I'll have to get a read on the L10 section when I have some dead time ( I am using for the last days my setup in Egypt, part of the reason I change, I found a buyer 😁) I am still not excluding the mission 1 option, but to really consider that, I need to be sure, that the lens adaptors for the inon lenses will be available in the near future. And the price also is a clear decking factory, since by the time I add the cost of the 3 lens, + the new mission 1, I am probably better spend my money on the compact option
  16. Hello, like in the title, I think I am ready to start considering an upgrade on my equipment. I am currently using a GoPro 12 with 3 inon wet lens, with tray, floater, and a tripod for shooting macro and video with fixed camera I am now evaluating what will be my next system, since with the new mission 1 realese with new form factor, and new high price, I am oriented to go on the next level, but I feel overwhelmed a bit by the choice. I don't have an exact budget yet, but since it's an upgrade on the current one, I start evaluating system from 2500€ and up. I'd like a suggestion on the camera body, lens option, tray and lights, but mainly I have to decide the camera. I'd like to keep the GoPro flexibility under water, where I can swap the wet lenses from wide, to macro, to super macro, ( by this I mean I'd like to have a system that allow me to be able to shoot almost everything without the need for example of a lens change inside the housing), to have a good balance between performance and size, without being too heavy to travel. Also, the size of the setup underwater would ideally be not much bigger than the current one, to allow me to film in small spots. Here is a picture for reference of the current setup
  17. I find my video way more stabilized now, that I have more structure around the GoPro, but I added floaters also to compensate the weight of the torches and wet lenses. Here is a photo:
  18. TG7 Just came out, and with minor improvement in confront with the TG6 after years from the TG6 release, so I don't think you should wait a model that is either coming in a long way, or coming soon with no improvement
  19. Last year, thanks to lion, we almost missed our emirates fligth, we should have arrived 4 hour early in Jakarta, but after 4 hour delay for apparently no reason of the Lion flight, we had literally to run around the airport and we catch our flight by minutes, we were among the last passenger boarding Fun ending for out trip in Raja Ampat
  20. My memory is shit 😆 To the original question, I think that the choice depends on what you aim to do, if you just need a way to remember the trip, definitely consider a smaller option, phone or Action cam, if you instead pursue the best quality, don't go back, the quality is going up, but a good camera with a good handler always beat a smartphone
  21. I am partecipating to a scuba video contest, I would appreciate if you could help me with the vote from followers 😊 To vote you just need to open the link, scroll down to the comments section and vote me leaving a comment with the number 117 in it 😊 Thanks in advance to who will help me https://www.youtube.com/post/UgkxHRsIhMV3VHM4xw1WlL_LJQS_Bf6noEXZ
  22. And finally, I got the complete video
  23. Fast releases are just a way of milking more money most of the times, after a bit of innovation, they are going to copy GoPro with minimal update with annual model...
  24. This is a youtube shorts, and youtube shorts accept only 9:16 I am uploading the same video on Instagram, youtube, tikTok and facebook in reel format. I will upload a longer 16:9 video only on youtube when it will be ready, i am doing it piece by piece
