I prefer dedicated houses, in this case any of them (Nauticam, Marelux, Isotta, Sea Frogs) have all the buttons on the housing, the easydive work via cable but the functions are only those that easydive has(8 pre definied buttons)!! A big difference when Seafrogs has identical prices, but with all the 22 camera buttons, with this you can adjust all thing underwater

I was talking, how Divevolk doesn't care about evolution, I still with my mirrorless camera, I change my Seafrogs plastic to a new from same brand but in aluminiun (for I upgrade a new Iphone and Divevolk it's the same price that I go to aluminiun, yet I can record 4k 120 fps with 600Mb or use a Atomos to record 4k60fps Raw) https://www.aditech-uw.com/es/tienda/7074-sea-frogs-sf-l-a7siii-para-sony-a7siii.html For iPhone I will wait, yet in future someone will do it

@Nando Diver The space is already there, so it doesn't make much sense!! A ssd it's a only way to record ProRes! Or do they mean on the side of the screen?! I was thinking to buy the new iPhone 16 Pro Max and the new Max Plus housing, but I could still equip the Sony better!! Almost €2500 is enough for some good things and on top of that, Seafrogs has launched a 'new' line of aluminum waterproof boxes (the same copy as Marelux - which I think are both manufactured by Nauticam as a white brand, or Seafrogs itself manufactured for Nauticam - be careful, these are assumptions) but 1/3 less expansive... Here in Europe you can buy from Aditech UW shop(Spain) I just use Blackmagic app to record video on my iPhone 13 Pro, but ProRes it's better for color grading , it's more heavy files and there it's less compression, bigger files has more information for post-production

Divevolk needs to do it better lens, I tested a Macro and Wide , but not using now because a lost of quality and sharpeness, if they change this, it will be a leader for years!!

Hi Buddies, Thanks for article @Maria Munn Like for me, Divevolk it's the best I have not tried the Sealife because his own app and the reviews are really bad!! On other side(Divevolk) I can use phone cam app or in my case (99% use for video) I use it Blackmagic Camera app(false color, white balance adjust, focus peaking, zebra, timecode, rack focus, .... 'almost' a cine camera!!) and if the dive it's boring(it's not!!) you can play chess or solitaire!! Better thing, if you arrive to the surface, you can use the phone in case of lost or emergency!! Last week, I sent a message to Divevolk, but so far they haven't responded!! I really talked about this subject you talk about here @Nando Diver To do this you would to have a completely new underwater housing, with the opening on the opposite side (USB), for SSD disks, I found these two very small ones, the Lexar® SL500 Portable SSD and the Kingstone XS2000 External SSD! The photo with disk that you posted will not work, as it will still have the waterproof case on top and the ultra wide angle lens will not work, as it will appear in the field view! The solution was to take these discs and try to get the manufacturer to change their connection (but this would still be much more complicated!!) so these two discs could already be done, if there was a desire from Divevolk!! So @Maria Munn can you help us and talk about this subject(iPhone with SSD) with Divevolk?! With this system, almost I can do it a very profissional videos because of ProRes...

Well done, DreiFish!! I used a Full CTB and Keldan Orange filter on the Olympus, yet on Sony I juslt almost of the time a natural light with WB each 3 meters! I will try in a pool with Sony. I note with filters I lost a lot of light(my ones are from China, yet still working for 3 years - i just spend 85€ each on Amazon - LetonPower) Thanks for sharing!! Big hug from Portugal

When you use it a Picture Profile, you need to apply a Lut or color correction in post production, if your target it's not color correting you can use a Color profile instead PP

Hi RomiK, For me, the EMWL, do it better work, because you can do it Macro and Wide anlge without change port/lens! To use this setup you need just Sony FE 90 mm F2.8 Macro G OSS what make Macro or with accessories Super macro. With EMWL you can choose 60º, 100º, 130º, and 160º. At this time to me it's almost impossible to buy this setup, yet I hope one day...

Berlengas island it's one of three that compose the Berlengas archipelago! It's Biosphere reserve from 2011 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Berlengas This footage are make during the National Underwater Photo and Video 2024, we have a maximum of 90 minutes underwater, yet we (me and Teresa)begin 15 minutes after and at the end of the the ear crystals, left the site and became very disoriented and we passed the test time, and all the images from that dive were declassifeid!! I hope you enjoy it...
