  1. OMG Wags I've got it. This is gonna be HUGE!!!

    ----DRUMROLL------

Come to Stoney Cove with us!!

It would be an amazing story of a man's dedication to his sport. Getting up at 2am to drive 150 miles just to que up at 5am so that he can get into the bottom car park!!

Then of course you have the totally extreme technical diving element of diving in negative visibility. Great for all those techies out there.

For the wreckies you can get some amazing footage of the Sterngarth superliner (small fishing boat) and for those who like to oooo and ahhhhh at marine life then we can go on a quest to find the mythical 8 foot Pike.

    It's gonna be a blockbuster!!!

Hey alternatively you could just do a film on nutty people on message boards on the internet!

    Cheers, Simon

  2. The place Mike is thinking of is called Gunung Api , located in the Banda Sea. Thick with sea snakes.

  3. Thanks Peter... thats the one....

Would be best if Kelly afraid of snakes...

  4. Mike,

"cage diving with salt water crocks"...forget the cage and things get interesting!

  5. HEY SPEAR...YOU TAKING THE PISS !!! ;):o

I like the Idea of the sea snakes.. Lots of angles on that. Danger without having to resort to large animals to give the fright appeal. Similar to say, the piranha films..

    Other Suggestions.

    "Island of the sea snakes"

    "Sea snake Island"

    I'm up for that..

    Dive safe

  8. Any live aboards doing the sea snake thing?

    steve B)

  9. Yes Steve

    Larry Smith, Adventure Komodo

    Not sure of website....

  10. More than a few boats do Gunung Api and Gili Manuk. Check out Banda Sea itineraries.

I've done it on the Pindito, Pelagian (now in Wackytoby) to name a few. DO NOT BRING someone who is afraid of snakes as a buddy. We had a lady who is a dear woman but she froze like a petrified tree when the snakes started doing their thing.

  11. Great info, much thanks

    Steve B)

  12. Does it have to be Aussie based???

  13. Not at all, I am in San Diego but I book and lead trips most everywhere as long as the charter folk are good. We have a trip set, with still a few openings(hint hint) for July, 2007 to Bali and Komodo aboard the Kararu Divers new ship "Voyager" but I don't know if the area for the sea snakes is on the itinery yet.

    Steve B)

  14. The Banda Sea is covered between the sundas and papuan islands.

Steve the banda sea itinerary has been around for a long time. Any boat that does Raja Empat has to Maumere or Alor to Sorong trip thru the Banda Sea. Tony would be stupid not to have it. They can charge more for a trip they have to take LOL
