I have a friend interested in purchasing an Aquatica housing, but she has small hands and is worried she may have problems reaching the trigger and dials. Any ladies out there with an Aquatica who has any input on this?
I can't let her try mine as she is in a different country before anyone suggests that..
Wouldn't it be easier for your friend to measure her hand and then get the housing dimensions measurements? I mean, hand sizes vary, even with women . So I doubt it'd be accurate.
As an aside, I don't think I've seen Jean, Blake or Mauricio in a dress at DEMA... YET!
And your title sounds like a singles ad.
<_<
singles ad? can i do that here?
I think Jean would look good in a dress.. Mauricio with the mustache... not so much
For what it's worth, Mike - my wife is petite and has no issues with the Aquatica grips.
I have 3 girls working for our company who use Aquatica housings everyday with no problems.
If your "friend" is really concerned about size perhaps the Aquatica D60 or 40D housing would be a good option.
Hey Mike, I told you to keep that between us, gee man!!!! , seriously I don't wear dress, not even a kilt, but I know quite a few girls shooting the Aquatica housing and no complain so far, and no they are not East German swimmer on steroids
Cheers, BTW Mauricio does look better in a dress than me, or does he
cool, thanks for the feedback folks! jean you can ignore that last email then.. haha
so, does this thread turn into a singles ad now?
Are there any single women using a Subal housing?

At last, a real measurement for a women.
I have about 80 dives with my D200/Aquatica housing/dual Ikelite strobes.
I absolutely love the set-up, and the results are far beyond what I dreamed. No issues whatsoever with dexterity, even with my blue smurf drygloves in the 46 degree waters of Puget Sound. My only, kinda not so good comment would be the weight of system on land. I use the ULCS bouyancy arms and only slightly negative for my underwater adventures
Have fun,
Kathryn

Do not know how I missed this thread, but fortunately everyone seems to have it covered well, but to let you know Mauricio was clean shaven yesterday at BTS, and I will tell you he would like fine in a dress.

I seem to remember looking at some pictures of Drew posing (or attempting...someone else might call it that) in a wetsuit for a certain German UW photographer...now, where did I put those shots??
