Seriously, guys
I've been diving with an Aquatica housing for five years now...first with the D100 and now the D200....Jean, NO, I'm not upgrading yet
I've never had any problems reaching any of the buttons...tell her to go ahead and get one!

Wouldn't it be easier for your friend to measure her hand and then get the housing dimensions measurements? I mean, hand sizes vary, even with women . So I doubt it'd be accurate.
Good point.
And your title sounds like a singles adThat's exactly what I thought when I saw the title!
Don't know that my input counts for much as I'm using a Subal housing instead of an Aquatica housing, but I'm a very petite person with small hands and have never had any problems accessing the controls of my housing. And, someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think that Subal and Aquatica housings are that much different in size.
A good thing about having small hands is since no one wants to buy the size small diving gloves, there's a huge selection to choose from whether it's on the big auction site or my LDS.

I hope things work out well for your Aquatica-using friend

Sorry Jean ..
Forgot to ask .. How are you going to compensate for the LCD being 3" on the D300 .. there certainly is no way to see all of it through the AD200 housing i have got

I think I tried out every brand d200 housing that was there at DEMA 2006. I have very small hands and found I could not access some of the buttons on the Aquatica d200 - especially the focus lock button. Mauricio was there and quickly told me that if I wore thick gloves then I could reach the focus lock button/lever. But what about when I don't wear gloves? If Aquatica had just made adjustable handles.... But I bet there is a way to swap handles on that housing as with many others Mike - Ryan Canon should know if that is possible if it is a problem.
Anyway Subal was much better for me but I still had to get other ULCS grip handles attached close to the housing so all the buttons were reachable. Now I've used it for something over 250 hours underwater and it is reasonably ergonomic but nothing is perfect of course.
But now this is old news as the d300 housings might be a bit different.
Just my experience, Carol
