Cal's Leafy Sea Dragon Shots

  1. Australia is still believes that dry-suits are for technical diving,

but it is slowly (very slowly) changing its opinion/ideas.

Australian's are also led to believe that diving during Winter is for "nut-cases" only... :)

If I knew then, what I know now, I wouldn't own a wetsuit...

But then again, 15yrs ago, I used to dive in a 3mm wetsuit year round here in Victoria.

Only difference was we used to wear a hood during Winter...

Some would consider that bordering on being a "nut-case"... hehehe

Kangaroo Island is basically controlled by one or two locals and heavily relies on charter/liveaboard.

I would consider Cal's road trip a much more enjoyable and profitable experience...

If you timed Cal's road trip properly, you could include the mating cuttlefish at Whyalla...

You'd be like a dog in a forest, you wouldn't know which 'tree' would be first...

    - we were there at the right time but ran out of money, time and the weather turned bad lol

    - that would make you a nut-case lol

I wear a 7mm with thermals under the the neoprene or a dry suit.
