Nice, Jeff (and David),

On the chumming question - the guys on the Solmar actually used the chum to keep the bait fish away - as a shark came in they would throw a ladle of chum off to the side to clear out your shot. Really good system.

Jeff and I had a great time. The topside of ele seals, sealions and fur-seals is really good too.

Here is a photo of me and shark, taken by one of the other guys on our trip. In the "Yes, they come close category".
