  1. The details how to make the semifisheye lens have been uploaded here (both English & Japanese).

    Thank you.

I second this motion hehe. You should consider starting your own buisness!

  4. I have been monitoring this thread for some time and encouraged now to try my own WA modification on my G10. I have an old Seacor 21 mm WA lens with dome for the Nikonos II. Would anyone suggest ideas how to seal the bottom part that inserts (bayonet mount) to the Nikonos similar to what was done to that old land WA lens by the great Hanachan? I will try to experiment in the bathtub if the G10 can "see through" the lens by submerging the WA lens up to the edge of the bayonet mount and report what turns out.

  5. Hi Hanachan,

thank you very much for your tutorial, it's very interresting...

Can you tell us what is the reference of the "black glue" and the "white glue" ?

    Regards,

  6. Thank you for attentions and replies.

To understand easily what adhesive I used and where I used it,

I have added the photo of the adhesives I used and redrawn the cross section of the lens.

So please see the article here again.

    I think that

it is easy to construct a form from some separated parts with the adhesive but

it is not easy to attain the waterproof in the high water pressure and

it is very difficult to keep the waterproof for a long time.

With my experience, the single sealing breaks sooner.

So the important part is waterproofed by double or triple sealings as shown in the cross section.

Sorry my poor English and thanks again.

  7. I only have a simple humble solution to build my own fiber optic cable to connect the G10 housing to the external strobe. Sum it up in the two pictures but more details are at my dive log website at dive.vinaworld.com

Sorry, I can't see the details at your website.

    What's your external strobe?

If you use the S-TTL system of INON, it is necessary to catch the light of strobe (amount and timing) very correctly.

So the internal strobe must light fiber optic cable axially.

You may flash the optic fiber laterally. If the S-TTL works normally with your set up, i think it is very easy and nice method.
