  1. Why are you doing a DM? Are you going to pack in your photography, leave the lovely South of England and become a dive guide in the tropics? :bye:

Hi Alex, just another sting to the bow. Certainly not giving up the photography yet but I do like to spend as little time in the UK as possible in the winter, I think I managed 37 weeks away from home last year. This year I will be spending more time in the UK , but hopefully not too much more :)

  2. Tristan,

Your U/W stuff definitely doesn't suck, and I'm glad that your customers liked what they saw. I'm uncomfortable having you remove images based on what I say. They are your shots and your vision. So take my comments with a grain of salt. The second image with the fish and the coral is not a strong image IMHO. Cool fish, but could be improved by getting closer and a different composition. I'm struggling under the opinion that when you but up a website for customers to review, they should see your absolute best work. Fewer is probably better. If the intent is for a photo sharing site then it's a whole other thing.

    Cheers,

    Steve

I am glad you pointed out that one Steve, I am not happy with either of the 2 wide angle fish shots on there either. They were put in under duress :bye: the other half really liked them.

    Thanks for the honesty.

  3. Really beautiful shots in there and I liked the design - simple (in a good way, too many sites go bonkers throwing the kitchen sink into things), looks great and loads quickly with intutive interface.

The only thing is that you may want to change the heading for golf & sports on the bottom to just golf until there are other shots in there? The only reason I even mention this is that were that your other shots were really so stunning (again beautiful shots in there) and when I went into the sports section since I am a baseball, basketball, football (the real football and not that soccer stuff :bye: ) junkie it was golf shots (again stunning shots).

I do not think it will turn anyone off by just having golf shots in there even with the current title, and it is pretty obvious you would nail the other sports if someone was looking for a sports photographer, but more something to consider(?)

Agree 100% with you, I will be changing that once I am back at my other computer to read golf photography. It is really tough to get into most sports, although I have been asked to cover some rugby for an agency so once I have some better shots, they will be going up there.

    Thanks Drew.

Just booked the flights to Sharm, off on Tuesday, back 19th April, hopefully I will get some photo dives in during that time.... just have to do some work now.

  5. The site looks really great, very professional. all the photos were very quick to come up. good work.

  6. Like others have said I enjoyed the simplicity of the design and it loads fast. I especially enjoyed the shots from Melbourne (my home town) and the underwater wreck images look great. Nice macro work too but not as good as the wreck stuff.
