Finally I have found some time to upload some more pictures. (Lucky it's done before I find a job, otherwise it would probably never happen at all!) These join the ones I already posted of Manado and Sangalaki.
All the underwater shots were taken with the C5050zoom. A few of the shots from the Turkey trip (a non-diving trip) were taken by Lilac using a P5.
However I don't suggest looking at all of them in one go ...

[Edited to fix the link which didn't work the first time.]
Very nice job.........how did you like Wakatobi?..........it's own my list..........any WA opportunities or all macro?
Karl
Certainly got your monies worth eh!
Got some nice ones from Wakatobi David.
Ahh Bob...Wakatobi 04?
Why not, I'm sure Craig & Herb would be up for it, plus I aint been there for 10 years!
Craig, Craig...do we have to tell him.LOL (I'd take a trip with Craig anytime, no if ands or butts!!) Lets see how the budget comes out. Must be a direct flight from Regina to Wakatobi. A couple of hours I'm sure.
If I get those Inon's I'll have to paint them pink just for the occassion.
5 shrimp, you bastard! A fantastic blind shrimp, too.
Lots of other great stuff, of course. Not through looking.
So we can make a date, then up to Lembeh & Sangalaki
Yes, she was a good wife while she lasted...hahahaLOL
Actually see may be good to go for Wakatobi
I want to see all these photos, but I'm cell-phone bound for a connection for a few more days.
Come to Wakatobi in December! I'll be there from Dec 9-23.
And I think James and I will be out in Sipadan, Lembeh and Sagalaki in August 2004. I'll post details once I find out what we are doing.
As nice as that sounds Eric, I have my cell phone glued to my hip waiting for the call to take my wife to the hospital for the birth of young Mintz #2. So that definately would not be a wise selection for me.
August well, that is a better time but I don't think I could swing all those spots at once. I might then be searching for new partners in my practice if I did.

Wakatobi looks great.
There was another shrimp just along from the 5 but it didn't want to joint the party. I guess I spent 20 minutes with these shrimp.
And although the focus was terrible on that other shrimp ("blind shrimp"?), the colours were so striking I had to put it in the gallery anyway! There's another one of these in the Komodo (uw 2) gallery.
Unfortunately there won't be so much diving in the future. This year was a great opportunity between jobs, but now I have to aim for positive cashflow again...

Freudian slip, I meant join not joint of course

If only the Doctors would allow me to fly (Can't wave my arms for too long). Banned until after Christmas... Theoretically.
David: Who's the handsome guy in the loud suit with the coffee?
David,
You've had a busy year!
My favorite so far is the one with the two eye balls sticking out of the sand, 20030503 Puerto Calera 1 #15.
Still looking ....
Let's see if they will allow hotlinking:
Cheers
James
What a hunk - Never misses his morning (afternoon actually) coffee!
Who's the handsome guy in the loud suit with the coffee?
As I recall, this suit was *supposed* to attract mantas ... but unfortunately they didn't often get close enough to be able to see it, so that must be why the magic wasn't too effective.
Actually I got more manta shots on the last day (when you weren't there!) than on the others. Must be something to do with snorkelling instead of diving, I expect. And I even had the white balance set to something vaguely sensible, unlike the shots from earlier in the week which were completely red.

PS wouldn't mind going back to Wakatobi in December ... but I already had 3.5 weeks there this year so it's a bit hard to justify ... even assuming my employment status remains conducive to dive travel.
