Wakatobi, Komodo, Puerto Galera

Ha ha - Ah well it sets the scene nicely! I'm there for several months next year and will purchase a suit looking more like a cleaner wrasse! It did attract the uw mantas. We are going out to Bali, Komodo & Wakatobi next year, then up to Lembeh if you're interested, hopefully Lilac will come too.

I'd love to revisit all those places. But ... it's not at all likely:

(1) if I have time to go it means I'm still not employed and I won't be able to afford it any more

(2) Lilac is working full time and studying 50% on top of that so she won't have all that much time either. And she has been making more noises about "non-diving holidays" recently which is a bad sign.

Most likley scenario is that I'll be doing my diving 2-3 days at a time in the Philippines and Malaysia, as weekends on the back of business trips with meetings carefully arranged for Mondays.

This weekend I'll be trying diving in HK again - only the second time, even though I have been here for a long time, because my first experience was very discouraging. But they say the water is a bit clearer at this time of year...

No mantas in HK. We DO have pink dolphins, beached whales and a rogue croc, but I don't expect to see any of those!

David it was probably all the pee in the suit that offset the strong magnetic pull of Bob's wetsuit coloUrs.

As for coffee, Bob should show you the rig he has set-up to be able to get coffee while diving. I think the cigarette housing is still in the planning stages. LOL

Might have to work on the wife to get her to go to Wakatobi, she seems to have Fiji in her head. Crazy woman!

Hell, we'll miss her if she goes to Fiji eh!

Great set of photos. Whilst i won't be going to Wakatobi i shall be diving with Max Ammer in Irian Jaya over the xmas period so hopefully i shall have some good stuff to show you guys.

Let's just hope i can take photos as well as yours.
