They need to update their license it looks like. They mention it is royalty free, but do not see the details about it anywhere. I probably missed it, but did not see it in their regular license. Very cool deal though, and looks like a real bargain.

Yes ... not long now ...

Well I ordered the lot too with the discount and free shipping $75.69.
Bargain... even if only a few tracks are ever used.

The ordering system is not working for me. Each time I try to place an order I get the prompt "Select a shipping method", but there doesn't appear to be a way to do that. I've tried shipping addresses in the UK and Thailand and I've tried 2 browsers. Anyone else got this trouble?
In the meantime I'm looking forward to lots of forthcoming holiday vids of Indonesian underwater oceanscapes set to Bavarian folk music.

They have a bunch of my African Safari footage up there so buy, buy, buy. I could use the dough.

Nope. Doesn't work. IE, FF and Opera. Will wait and see if they reply to my email.

The problem in my case seemed to be the discount coupon. I was getting asked for a shipping method but unable to select one. So if anyone is having trouble getting an order through with the coupon, try it without.

Beware, some or perhaps all of the music offered by Footage Firm is now being monetised on YouTube. This means that ads will be run next to/over/in front of your video on YouTube and the revenue will go to the music provider. It also means you can't monetise the video yourself. I suspected this might happen, and provides some explanation for all the continued Footage Firm giveaways.
Footage Firm music comes with different licences. I am doing more work on this and will report back.
This whole YouTube Content ID issue with regard to RF music is a complete shambles. I'm actually thinking of setting up a page of YouTube-safe/unsafe music providers.

It's funny when I got the bundle of CD's I in fact had a load of the tracks from other suppliers

I made 3 test uploads. The 2 videos with tracks covered by a licence on the DVD from royaltyfreemusiclibrary.com both matched third-party content from BFM Digital. The 1 video with a track licensed directly by footagefirm.com did not raise a claim (yet).
