Yes, and to make the camera even less conspicuous to the subject, Todd diverts their attention with a bright pink modeling light.

I am going to have to send you that damn light already. As you will be happy to know I now have the MOD light. I shall install a pink filter for nostalgic purposes on my trips with you though.

Todd, I note you got the 8 inch dome port. I presume that this is so you have something that will work with the fish eye as well as wide angle zooms. Would the much cheaper 6 inch port work OK with the zooms (18-55 EFS and similar focal length EF lenses). I note the 8 inch port is significantly more expensive than the 6 inch.

Ryan, thanks for your reply. I checked out James' link to the A300 initial review, which was cool. As you've worked out by now, the FEC hack has progressed, housed laptop no longer required! I note the underwater camera pro site mention an update to the intial review including some port info and housing in the water sort of stuff. I await it with great interest.

I went on Aquaticas recommendation. I also felt that with the dollars already spent that I did not want to short myself for a couple hundred dollars on the last piece.

I'll leave the housing on the front porch, come and pick it up for a test drive.

It seems that the eyepiece w magnifier is quite an improvement.

Can you easily read the tiny digital text ?
