Slaved Manual controllers
Thanks for the feedback. I just got done playing around with the new system in my pool, experimenting with the settings and strobes. I pretty much came to the same conclusion, it's nice to have more control than less.
I really like the feel of the Ikelite D70 housing! The controls are very easy to operate, the viewfinder works great, and it very nice to have a clear view of the camera's top LCD. I've been using a PT-015 in Dry Gloves for the last year, so the larger controls are a blessing! If I never use use a housing that requires me to press one control by spinning another while wearing the equivelent of ski gloves, it'll be too soon.
Tommorow I'll try out the 18-70 lens in the pool, and then go diving in South Puget Sound on Sunday. Looking forward to octo's and wolf eels!
