Hi there!

My name is Lyle, long time member of the old Wetpixel as well as Fred Miranda if anyone is around there. I'm a professional photographer, both underwater as well as landscape and wildlife. I live on Maui, in Hawaii. Locally most of my time is spent freediving for photos from our small sib, but I do scuba as well now and then.

Owned a gallery with my work for a little over 5 years in Paia called Pueo Gallery but between Covid and the Lahaina fire it was an ill timed adventure. These days, I sell my work online and have shifted to doing more photography workshops. My signature trip I guess is the humpbacks in Tonga, just returned from a great few weeks. Have been running trips there for years and already am ready to get back there. Nothing beats it.

I realized that I need to actually sign up and get back into the conversation, definitely would like to connect with more like minded folks. My wife enjoys taking photos and videos as well but her eyes glaze over when I start talking about new gear or lighting techniques or any of that. lol
