Hi everyone,

I’m excited to join the WaterPixels community!

I’m based in Switzerland and took my first steps into underwater photography earlier this year during a trip to Malapascua, starting out with video lights.

Recently, I decided to upgrade my rig to take things to the next level: I bought a Sony A7C II setup and added a pair of AOI P1 strobes along with a Backscatter Smart Control Trigger.

As with most upgrades, I'm currently navigating the initial learning curve (and working through a few technical sync/trigger quirks!), so I’m really looking forward to learning from the wealth of experience here in the forum.

Having recently written about installing the o-Turtle trigger into a Nauticam housing, I’ve now had a go with a UWT internal trigger for the Nauticam NA-OM1 housing. UWT describes it as the 11072-22-HSS TTL-Converter for NAUTICAM for OLYMPUS/ OM SYSTEM. The UWT trigger arrives in a bubble-wrap envelope in a small cardboard box. No frills functional.
