  1. Anyone carrying their housing directly with them fully setup? I wonder if it could be a good approach?
  2. thanks all! I was able to install it but it took me about 3-4 hour as i didn't have the right tool at hand. The hardest part was actually inserting the spring below this locking block. I just tried again and again with a tweezer until it was in the right position. Inserting the C-ring (eclip/circlip) wasn't easy either.. Would not recommend doing it (or ask someone with tiny hands to do it) Ultimately, I did insert the spring, but have no idea which of the two springs they provided to use, as the Nauticam adaptor i have (37303, bought in 2018) wasn't listed in the manual. however, it now works and holds the vaccum. Chris : the adaptor I have (37303), without the upgrade, would not let me lock on the newer WACP 1B which I had bought. It would slide in, but would not lock. Now that i have updated it, it works and seems to hold the vaccum. that locking block is a few mm lower in the grooves of the port.
  3. THANK YOU, this is exactly what I needed - super helpful! Can I ask you which part do you own (37305? 37303/37304) ? I'll keep everyone posted on this, i hope i don't have any more questions :)
  4. Hi, I am currently upgrading my old Nauticam sony adapter (100 to 120) using https://www.nauticam.com/products/upgrade-lock-mechanism-for-port-adaptorscompatible-36064-37304-37305 Instructions https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ZsoDwPUN7HLy37r4JZpkj9ujNsKk_PPV/view I'm struggling to understand how and where to insert the spring on part 3. I just can't seem to fit it (esp the "on top"? the chart seems that it is behind it) Can a charitable soul send me a picture of their locking mechanism so that i can see where the spring fits? Thank you so much! Alex
  5. Fantastic info, thank you everyone for sharing! And beautiful pictures!
  6. By the looks of it, the first pic is definitely with flash while the others are not
  7. Afaik sharktastic doesn’t go to Fav. I did that itinerary a few years ago and it was strobes full power all along. Reflectors can be useful if you have them
  8. I am changing my mind, and thinking about a trip there (although probably liveaboard based) - does anyone remember how strict the local domestic airline (maldivian) was with carry on luggage? There are on the website strict carryon restrictions (5kg) ..
  9. I’ve used my mouth a few times, takes several breaths but works as well. It’s just a bit awkward on the dive deck with everyone looking at you. 😆
  10. Amazing! This should be posted as an article/update on the front page of the website, not visible enough :)
  11. Wow it must be an error, definitely not the same price in euro/gbp/chf . sells new for about 500
  12. As title mention, I'm looking for this piece https://www.nauticam.com/collections/pf-37202 Would want a seller from EU/UK preferably. Thank you
  13. I would highly encourage going second hand (this forum, eBay etc). You can great deals there and this can make the next step more manageable.
  14. Thank you, disappointing on the lens then !
  15. Sony just announced their new sony A7V and a new kit lens https://alphauniverse.com/stories/sony-electronics-launches-alpha-7-v-and-fe-28-70mm-f-3-5-5-6-oss-ii/ Personnally, I'd be very interested in seeing how that new kit lens will work with current wet lenses setups from Nauticam.
