FS: Nauticam GH4 + Panasonic GH4 + Flash trigger + Vacuum Valve + 128GB Sandisk Extreme Pro
Well the time has come, I cannot look anymore at my old GH4 setup collecting dust, so perhaps it can find a new home So here we go: 1) Nauticam GH4 housing - rather good condition, it was fully serviced and rebuilt towards the end of 2021 by Nauticam authorized dealer (at a whooping cost of 450 Euro...). It has since done a single dive trip (about 2.5 weeks) and then collected dust. There are some white marks on the outside - unfortunate effect of diving from Indonesian boats with their engines leaking oil left and right....Note that I will include some o-ring but I strongly recommend getting a new one - I tend to change those once a year/two usually, really does not cost much but its a life saver and the only thing that stands between your camera and the seawater really. 2) Nauticam Vacuum valve - v1, fully working, comes with the necessary installation key 3) Nauticam Panasonic LED trigger - an absolute must have, not only allows for fast sync but battery saving is incredible - without, could do 2 dives then have to change battery., With, easy 4 dives, so only changing battery end of day and no need to fiddle on the boat 4) Panasonic GH4 camera, US model (so no 30 minutes video limit) with V-Log upgrade key (key sticker on camera body). Very good condition, all accessories present, in addition a total of 3 original Panasonic batteries. Only used underwater. Note that the original strap (unused) is also included - I have on only found it after taking pictures xD 5) Sandisk Extreme Pro 128GB SD Card - very good condition, only used underwater Please see pics, any question just shoot me a message. More pics available on demand. Price wise, hmmm now that is a tough one - how about 900 Euro + shipping takes it all ? Yes it is a bit older but still very decent setup. Shipping via DHL (German post not courier, you can check prices on https://www.dhl.de/en/privatkunden/pakete-versenden/weltweit-versenden/paket.html). Generally about 16.49 - 20,49 Euro in EU, or 30-50 Euro worldwide, depending on where about are you really, 5kg or 10kg package (unsure yet if all will fit in 5kg so best aim for 10kg..). Plus additional 14 Euro for extra insurance above 500 Euro. Alternatively a pickup is possible either from Brussels (Belgium) or Bonn (Germany) Payment wise, Paypal is fine IF you are an established member of Waterpixel and have an Euro account. If you have 3 posts or come from outside of Euro zone then sadly not, due to PP crappy exchange rates and gazillion of inter-border fees, in which case bank transfer (for example via Wise) would do. Alternatively of course cash on pickup is also welcome. I will be also listing soon Nauticam 6" dome and Panasonic 7-14 and 12-35 II lenses, both with Nauticam zoom rings, happy to sell as a combo.

FS: Nauticam N85 36133 6'' Acrylic Wide-Angle Dome Port Panasonic 7-14 12-35 + Novus Polishing Set
So to continue with this selling thing: 1) Nauticam N85 6'' Acrylic Wide-Angle Dome Port 36133 - can be used with Panasonic 7-14 as well as 12-35 I/II lenses (also selling in a separate topics). Acrylic in relatively good condition, freshly polished with the Novus solution. Only one tiny deeper scratch is there but barely visible and not showing on pictures. Other than that some paint scratches on the outside, especially on the bottom, from resting the camera on the rocks or concrete etc but that is purely aesthetic. Please note that I have bought the dome about 7-8 years ago and back then Nauticam has advertised depth as "60 meters" hence it is sold as that as I cannot find the box with serial number to verify (funny enough found another one but not this one). Also note that I will include some o-ring but I strongly recommend getting a new one - I tend to change those once a year/two usually, really does not cost much but its a life saver and the only thing that stands between your camera and the seawater really. 2) Novus acrylic polishing set - about 60% full, must have to keep the dome in perfect condition Please see pics, any question just shoot me a message. More pics available on demand. Price wise, hmmm how about 250 Euro + shipping takes it all ? Shipping via DHL (German post not courier, you can check prices on https://www.dhl.de/en/privatkunden/pakete-versenden/weltweit-versenden/paket.html). FS: Panasonic 12-35 II Lens + Nauticam Zoom Ring 36148 + Hoya HDX UV Filter
And one more: 1) Panasonic 12-35 II Lens - in excellent condition, all accessories are present. it was originally bought in August 2021 and comes with 5 year warranty so technically still a couple of years left. Invoice is available. The black tape is there to prevent the writing on the lens to reflect in the dome - easily peeled (paper tape) 2) Nauticam Zoom Ring 36148 - original zoom ring for the lens above 3) Hoya HDX UV filter Please see pics, any question just shoot me a message. More pics available on demand. Furball is not included Price wise, hmmm how about 600 Euro + shipping takes it all ? Shipping via DHL (German post not courier, you can check prices on https://www.dhl.de/en/privatkunden/pakete-versenden/weltweit-versenden/paket.html). Generally about 14.49 - 16,49 Euro in EU, or 20-30 Euro worldwide, depending on where about are you really, 2-5kg package. Alternatively a pickup is possible either from Brussels (Belgium) or Bonn (Germany) Payment wise, Paypal is fine IF you are an established member of Waterpixel and have an Euro account. Alternatively of course cash on pickup is also welcome. I have also listed full Nauticam GH4 setup as well as 6" dome that goes with this lens, and also 7-14 one, also with Nauticam zoom ring, happy to sell as a combo.

FS: Panasonic 7-14 Wide Angle Lens + Nauticam Zoom Ring 36044 + Panasonic filter adapter VXQ1911
And another one: 1) Panasonic 7-14 Wide angle lens - Japanese model, boxed, accessories present. The black tape is there to prevent the writing on the lens to reflect in the dome - easily peeled (paper tape). Note that there is a small dust spec under the backside (backside picture, slightly to the right) - I have spoken with a guy restoring lenses professionally and he has advised that it makes no sense to bother with opening and cleaning if it does not show on the photos (and it does not), as one can get even more dust instead 2) Nauticam Zoom Ring 36044 - original zoom ring for the lens above 3) Panasonic 7-14 filter Adapter VXQ1911 - allows for mounting filters on 7-14 lens from the back side - original Panasonic, unused, as never got around mounting it Please see pics, any question just shoot me a message. More pics available on demand. Price wise, hmmm how about 400 Euro + shipping takes it all ? Shipping via DHL (German post not courier, you can check prices on https://www.dhl.de/en/privatkunden/pakete-versenden/weltweit-versenden/paket.html). Generally about 14.49 - 16,49 Euro in EU, or 20-30 Euro worldwide, depending on where about are you really, 2-5kg package. Ultralight Camera Solutions
Now this is what I call customer service 😄 Thank you very much! I was just curious but will certainly email you, in case something can be done. Aaanywyas, seems as it is typical with my luck 🤣, I have bought some right before June 2023, and then some more right after, but I guess EU distributors still then had "old" stock.

Ultralight Camera Solutions
Awesome, thank you both! Wish EU customs also had a discount code 🤣 I do have a question if I might - I got quite a few of the AC-CSLSK2 clamps last year, as standard clamps were a bit too short to be used with Nauticam float arms. But as it turns out, this does not fully work sadly - the ball "stem" on the arms (70x200 and 90x170) is simply too thick and won't fit the cutouts. But now there seems to be a pic of those clamps and what looks like 70x200 arms on the website, fitting the cutouts. (https://ulcs.com/product/ac-cslsk2-clamp/#mz-expanded-view-664212568101) Has there been any design change since perhaps ?

OM-1 MkII announced
Woohooo, looks like autofocus improvements are coming to the original OM1. At least some, MK2 is supposedly still better. No new functions (like human detection) though, just the autofocus update + "thrash" button modification. https://www.dpreview.com/news/8620115074/om-system-om-1-autofocus-firmware-update Original, in Japanese: https://jp.omsystem.com/information/detail/in20240221.pdf

Leaving Seller Feedback
Hmm feedback on the profile could be a good idea, if there is a way to implement it so it is not easy to abuse that, is via fake accounts for example. Scubaboard has "Trader history" and it seems pretty decent.

Need a new monitor for stills editing
One word - OLED. There is a new crop of monitors released/soon to be released that will well fit into your budget. And boy, those can easily do 95% Adobe RGB, some claiming even more. Apart from monitors you can also look at LG TV C series in 42 inch size. C4 is about to be released soon. I am personally sporting C2 with a PC and the thing is amazing. Below is a list of latest releases monitor wise (from DisplayNinja): https://www.displayninja.com/best-oled-monitor/ Panel Monitor Screen HDR USB-C / KVM Other Release Date, Price 31.5” 4K 240Hz QD-OLED Dell Alienware AW3225QF 1700R, Glossy Dolby Vision, 1000-nits No eARC, 3-year warranty January 11, $1200 ASUS ROG Swift PG32UCDM Glossy Dolby Vision, 1000-nits Yes – Q1 2024 HP Omen Transcend 32 Glossy Dolby Vision, 1000-nits Yes (140W) HyperX Audio Q1 2024 Samsung OLED G80SD Matte 1000-nits No Tizen Smart OS – Gigabyte Aorus FO32U2P Glossy 1000-nits No DP 2.1 UHBR20 H1 2024 Gigabyte Aorus FO32U2 Glossy 1000-nits No – — MSI MPG321URX Glossy 1000-nits Yes (90W) – February, $1200 MSI MEG321URX Glossy 1000-nits Yes (90W) RGB / AI Features N/A MSI MAG321UPX Glossy 1000-nits No – N/A 31.5” 4K 240Hz (1080p 480Hz) W-OLED, RGWB ASUS PG32UCDP Matte 1300-nits Yes ELMB August / September 2024 LG 32GS95UE Matte 1300-nits No Pixel Sound August / September 2024

Testing/Comparing new generation strobes - OneUW, Retra Pro, Ikelite DS230, Supe D-Pro (Marilux Apollo III)
This is some great testing, thanks!! Any chance you could add something like Inon Z240 ? 😉 Or Weefine WFS07..... You could look into 3rd party LED triggers - I had a few random crappy, half broken cables, that would never trigger with Nauticam (or rarely, depending on how I bend them). Changed to Turtle now, and lo and behold, even those cables suddenly work fine. But yeah, on the other side, one would expect that strobe should rather work out of the box, especially with quite a popular housing/LED trigger brand.

OM-1 MkII announced
Yeah seems its the same sensor...och well, gotta wait till v3 to stop scaring the fishies with shutter noise 😉
-
OM-1 MkII announced
This sounds very promising indeed, like they literally re-used v1 body. Guess we will have to see how AF compares between v1 and v2. I am also curious whether any changes were made to the electronic shutter - current limit seems to be 1/100 when synced with strobe.
-
OM-1 MkII announced
Now that is rather fast. Let's now pray to the housing gods and hope the new body still fits....would be a real shame otherwise. Dimensions/weight so far are listed as exactly the same, so could be perhaps a good sign, that only changes were made under the hood. Also given how little has changed maybe OM will bring at least some of the changes, like upgraded autofocus and new detection modes to the original OM1 via firmware one day... there hasn't been any updates since the 1.5 version quite a while ago. 2399 Euro on DE website, don't see any mention about extra battery or 5 year warranty like it was with original OM1, only deal seems to be 300 Euro off any lens bought with OM1 II.

attach your dive computer to your camera?
Short of some 3d printed mounts (like for example one shown by @CaolIla below, the one with compass ), just get a bungee mount for your chosen computer then attach to an arm. No different than attaching to an arm 😆. And with bungees you can about to attach it literally anywhere.

Fibre Optic Cables? Make your own....
Just had a look, 2m is doable, more unfortunately not, as its cutting into my last-resort-backup cable reserve 😉 Might be able to post next week, just cover the postage and we are good.

It works perfect now, thank you!

Information on the upcoming strobes
Yeah, been watching that one for a while. Definitely comes very close. Just to be picky, I would loose the lights, up the power and add 4900K diffusers, and voila! Have not been able to find any real life reviews though, only shop ones. Any Pixels out there having it ?

Hardware required to edit photos pictures 2024 - Mac
There you go. List pulled using comparison engines like Geizhals and Idealo. Note that prices were actually lower in some cases in last weeks. However according to industry rumors NAND prices might see 20-50% price hike this year, hence it could be prices are slowly rising. List is by no means exhaustive nor takes into account any periodic deals that are often present on SSD market. Reference Samsung T7 4TB, USB 3.2 10Gbps - 239 Euro ------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------- SSD Internal around 200 Euro, PCIe 4.0, 7000MB/s speeds (when using full M.2 NVMe interface) ------------------------------------------------------- Emtec X400-10 SSD Power Pro PCIe 4.0 4TB - 189 Euro Innovation IT PerformanceY Heatsink PCIe 4.0 4TB - 203 Euro (Note that heatsink is included) Kingston NV2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD 4TB - 215 Euro Lexar NM790 NVMe PCIe 4.0 4TB, M.2 - 225 Euro Patriot Viper VP4300 Lite PCIe 4.0 4TB - 235 Euro Verbatim Vi7000G PCIe 4.0 4TB - 239 Euro TeamGroup Cardea Pro PCIe 4.0 4TB - 245 Euro (Note that heatsink is included) SSD External USB 3.2 Gen 2×2, All offer USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 with a maximum theoretical speed of 20Gbps. I was also able to find an actual USB 4 SSD as well: SSD External USB 4: --------------------------------------------------- ADATA SE920 - 329 Euro (*2TB version, no 4TB version available) USB 4 Enclosures: --------------------------------------------------- DeLOCK USB4 40 Gbps External Enclosure - 183 Euro Yottamaster USB4 - 109 Euro Targus HyperDrive Next USB4 NVMe SSD Enclosure - 105 Euro - appears to be rated IP55 Satechi USB4 NVMe SSD Pro Enclosure - 119 USD (not listed yet in DE; price from Satechi website) You can of course add more to the list, if you venture more into Aliexpress territory. So say I am going for USB 3.2, 10Gbps, cheapest possible: Sabrent EC-WPNE, USB 3.2 - 35 Euro Emtec X400-10 SSD Power Pro PCIe 4.0 4TB - 189 Euro ----- Total 224 Euro. Still less than T7. Finally we are over T7 price. And at 3x T7 speeds. Cheapest comparable - does not exist, other than 2TB version of ADATA SE920 at 329 Euro.

Hardware required to edit photos pictures 2024 - Mac
I have nothing against Samsung T7, certainly its a good choice, if you are looking for an out-of-the-box-portable plug'n'play basic SSD, with the addition of being rugged. However If only price is the main factor then at the very least one needs to compare drives from a similar class. Here its more apples to oranges - one is a out-of-the-box-portable rugged SSD (and that is its main selling point), one is a top range (albeit a consumer one) "normal" SSD, which can be made portable. Former, apart from its portability/ruggedness, is vastly inferior in every single technical aspect (Samsung won't even provide TBW rating for those...), from speed through reliability to warranty. And there is plenty of 4TB choices around 200 Euro (or even less) from other solid manufactures, that still outclass T7 (other than portability/ruggedness, that is w/o enclosure). Which could be much more suitable for a direct comparison possibly, other than drives from the same class (i.e. also portable/rugged like Crucial X8/Sandisk Extreme Pro). Of course prices in across countries will differ, hence that might be also a factor. Also, rugged enclosures do exist, example from Sabrent: https://sabrent.com/products/ec-wpne IP67 rating (so actually provides protection against water immersion) vs only IP65 (protection against water jets only) on Samsung T7. And let's not forget you can keep re-using the same enclosure for different SSDs in the future. And SSD itself can be fitted into any PC/Laptop (not a Macbook of course 🤣) , which in general might be seen as generating less e-waste perhaps.
-
Hardware required to edit photos pictures 2024 - Mac
Any really, there are some small differences between the generations in terms of TBW, and bigger ones in terms of speed (540 goes up to 10GB/s...) as well as IOPS (530/540 go up to 1/1.5 mln). So pick depending on usage. I am on 510 on NAS/NVR/PC - PCIe 3.0 speed "only" but since not running a db for a few hundreds users, its more than enough....and these were on a crazy sale in Alternate Germland a few moons ago 😉 Aaach and almost forgot - If not needing that high TBW etc, price/performance ratio wise TeamGroup Cardea Pro does not look too shabby as well, with decent TBW and prices - 2TB is less than 120 Euro, with sizes all the way to 8TB. Heatsink - BeQuiet MC1 Pro.

Thanks, missed the Waterpixel crew as well! Hope you all had a nice time and Santa did not bring too many coal bags, broken snorkels, or worse, Macbooks 😉
