I would also consider Scubalamp OSD. It's compatible with S&S D2 (I think you can contact them for adaptor if needed). For me it was easier to use the dial on the side rather the shape disk like in the Retra or BS snoots.

If you're interested, I'm selling a Fantasea housing for the a6300. As far as I know, it's the original housing that SeaFrogs copied the design from. Housing, A6 dome port (for sigma 16 or sony 10-18), flat port (sony 16-50, sony 50 macro) and Sea&Sea port (sony 90mm).

Hey all I have two discontinued S&S ports for which I'm trying to find new O-rings: Extension Ring 20L (SS30123) and DX Macro Port 52 (SS30111). I've searched a few websites but haven't found any. Does anyone have an idea where I can find those? Thanks 🙂

Easydive Leo3 Wi- yay or nay?
Sarthur1 replied to Sarthur1's topic in Photography Gear and Technique
thank you! so far, I couldn't find too much information and non-affiliated reviews, but from what I read so far, the opinions are somewhere in the middle about the concept of this housing, and no one talked about the quality of the glass or housing itself and the compatibility of the port system. -
Hey all Is there an Easydive housing user here who can give a review for this housing? Is this housing still good in 2024? I have a sony a6300 with fantasea housing, and I really like the idea of not having to change the housing when I change camera body (let's say from a6300 to a6700 or a7iv). Does anyone knows how the port system works or what is the difference between the different housings they offer?

SLR to Mirrorless - Macro or WA first?
Sarthur1 replied to scuba_jc's topic in Photography Gear and Technique
A little tip I learned about WA- bigger isn't better (dome wise..) If you want something nice for traveling then consider fish lens (canon 8-15) and a 100mm / 4.33" dome. -
SLR to Mirrorless - Macro or WA first?
Sarthur1 replied to scuba_jc's topic in Photography Gear and Technique
You can always start with just the kit lens and maybe some wet lenses to get the feel of it underwater and then move in the direction that fits you better. I started with the Sony A6300 (fantasea housing) and Sony 16-50 kit lens with the AOI +12.5 diopter. I then realized I liked macro better and bought the Sony 50mm macro (which now I replaced with the Sony 90mm macro). Which housing are you using and which FF body do you have? -
Do you this lens will work with the more compact domes? Like 4.5" or 6"?

Can I use the Nauticam 18803 dome port for the tokina 10-17?

Any Nauticam 4.33 acrylic dome? It doesn't need to be the N120?

Hey all I'm going to buy a Nauticam NA6700 housing, and I have a few questions that maybe someone here can help me with: 1. Which flash trigger should I buy? I'm using 2 Scubalamp D-pro strobes, and I prefer a rechargeable one over a non-rechargeable one. 2. How does the vacuum system work? I need to purchase the M14 vacuum valve, and that's it. Is there a better option? 3. I plan to use the Tokina 10-17 lens, but I've heard that the Tokina port (na18804) is no longer available. Do you know of any alternative dome ports that would be compatible? 4. Can I use Sigma mc11 instead of the metabones adaptor? Thank you 🙂

Hey all I'm looking to buy SEA & SEA OPTICAL DOME PORT II 100 L for Canon 8-15 (ss-30135). I saw on Backscatter it sells for 1150$, so please make reasonable offers 🙂

Sticky as in you press it and it get stuck / takes time to bounce back? With camera buttons after every dive I wash it with fresh water and press all the buttons (even those I didn't pressed on that dive) under the water stream, and then dry it with a towel by pressing the buttons while holding the towel. Usually that keeps them working. I had a button that got stuck once, my housing manufacturer told me to do my regular routine and if that doesnt work to try soak it in a 50/50 solution (viniger - water), play with the button until it gets free and then wash it with fresh water. I'm not sure about computer buttons as I'm not sure it has the same isolation as housing buttons. My recommendation to you is to ask your dive shop or email the company.

Which is better, the 4.33" nauticam dome or the zen 100mm dome? It seems impossible to find the nauticam 18804 for purchase -
Hey all So what are my options for fisheye lenses with sony aps-c in a nauticam housing? Is it only the Tokina 10-17 or sony 16 with fisheye converter? Anyone tried other lenses and domes and got good results? Also, why nauticam is only stating the Metabones adaptor and not sigma mc11 as well? Is there a major difference between them or somthing? Thanks 🙂

Thank you guys! So it looks like I'll be sticking to the sony a6700 with sony 90mm and tokina 10-17 in a nauticam housing (new housing & used ports).
