Thanks, Gary! Much appreciated. I suspect the team are a bit surprised by how well it's gone too. Massive sense of relief. But, really, it's all about the enthusiasm of the members - especially the refugees - and the contributors. The response has been fantastic.
  2. I made separate ones for macro and wide-angle. I just built the gear the way I’d use it then measured with the arms fully extended. Then added a bit for good measure. If they prove to be too long, just cut them after initial trials.

Bienvenue, Jean-Luc! Great to have you with us.

Thanks, Ian. That’s very kind and much appreciated! We’re delighted with the response to Waterpixels. There’s a great group of people onboard!
  5. She is truly a keeper! 😍

Our video experts will chip-in, no doubt. But way closer to 20k than 2k. My partner has a 5k Orca light for her GoPro

Thanks for getting this rolling, Ian. Definitely worth a thread.
  8. Ive never seen fungus on a port - I’ve sure had it on lenses - but I have had those weird drying marks on glass ports. Washing with fresh water and then drying with a soft cloth helps but, at least for me, hasn’t solved it completely. I’ve had to use Mothers Glass Cleaner which worked pretty well.

Ahh, yes, we know that heavily invested feeling. Welcome, Erik! We can help you invest even more heavily…..
  11. Argh - not good. Obvious comment, but it's stuck for a reason. I guess you've already tried the usual "reboot" - switching it off and on. If that doesn't clear it, I'd have thought something mechanical has gone wrong and that, to me, indicates a repair job. Bummer.
  12. An extremely good point. I do believe that there is an automatic membership for all Waterpixels contributors.
  13. So it's, errrr, actually a really good deal??

  15. It's so easy from France, Flo. Non-stop, daily flights from CDG - twice a day sometimes! Similarly easy from Amsterdam: 3 times a week.

Yep, go into your Profile, select Account Settings and you'll see Country as a tab. with that you can change the settings and flag.
  17. Keep those abbreviations coming! Brilliant!
  18. Excellent, Mark. Our role in life is to help members spend money..... And, yeah, I'm sure you'll change your mind many times. That's all good thought, right, as you read more and get more and more into it.
  19. I started the same route as you guys with a cooler. But after several rusted out zips and leaks, bit the bullet and bought the Cinebags Grouper. Yeah, expensive but money well spent. I’ve used it a couple of times even as my system carry-on bag on flights. As a bag to carry gear onto and store on a dive boat, it is excellent.
  20. I will collate and post.
  21. Home made snoot? We need a picture, Jef!
  22. So far, so good. The response has been terrific.
  23. TimG replied to Ido's post in a topic in General Chat
Sure saves time, Ido! The edit element I think amazing. Total picture creation, not so much. For now. But doubtless it will be before long.
