  1. Oh, that is interesting. I haven't heard that before. If you can link to where that was that would be cool to read more on. Yeah, likely best use case will be for optics like the WACP / FCP.
  2. It is the same length as the Z105 and a tad bit lighter. I am not saying this would replace that but certainly could be a very versitle option with wet lenses more so than the 24 - 50. It would of course require a longer port than the 24-50 but I've known Canon & Sony Shooters to use these types of zoom lenses behind DP's. Just a fun thought! It is cool to see fast lenses like this that are relatively small with internal zoom.
  3. For users of the Nauticam wet lenses and Water Contact Optics the popular choice has been the Nikon NIKKOR Z 24-50mm f4-6.3 Lens or the old Nikon 24-85 which provides a good zoom range but is a rather slow lens in terms of aperture performance and AF speeds. Now with the release of the lens below that has a fully internal zoom I am excited to see how it will perform with these optics. Looking forward to hearing from anyone who has the option to test it out. That additional 20mm and near to macro performance could make this lens a great all rounder when paired with these wet lenses and water contact optics. https://www.nikonusa.com/p/nikkor-z-24-70mm-f28-s-ii/20129/overview?srsltid=AfmBOorogKfPsy6gi2KwCpzKECumqE7SBAeVFU3216GDEI_4DHwXyzy8 Photo below with WWL-C and Nikon NIKKOR Z 24-50mm f4-6.3 Lens

  5. Ah, I was hoping to have it before then. Thank you for the offer. I will likely see you as i work at Lembeh Resort! I would like to shot CFWA with seahorses, Cuttlefish anything that is roughly fist sized can make a great subject. There is also some fantastic wide-angle opportunities on the east side of Lembeh as well as Bangka to the north.
  6. Hello! I know this is a long shot but I figured it may be worth a try! I have a Nikon 8-15 and Zen Mini dome in the US that I need transported to Lembeh Resort. If any of you fellow photographers are coming this way and have some spare space (which I know is unlikely) I'll do whatever I can to make it worth your while! Image for attention.
  7. Thanks Dave! I will let you know! The 170 is a great size as well but I have a 230 for splits and want the small form factor for CFWA.

  12. On this dive, the goal was to find the more common critters and try to make them stand out in their environment. My two favorite shots from this dive have to be the Scorpionfish and the Snooted Arrow Crab! Shot on Nikon D850 Nikon 60mm Macro & Nauticam MWL. Dual Ikelite DS160s and a Retra Snoot.
