  1. yes, the Neweer ball head was an extra. There are many ball heads available, I chose the one in the picture because I wanted one with a low profile as I was worried that the camera would sit too high for macro. Turned out not to be a problem. yes it is still alive 🙂 as good as new. Must say I always had it in a rinse tank after each dive.
  2. its from the company JOBY and made from ABS. Used it for around 80 dives over the last three years. No issues with salt water.
  3. I use a Joby GorillaPod with a Neewer Ball Head. The ball head is very important esp. for macro. I usual setup the tripod in roughly the right position and then use the ball head the final adjustment.
  4. thank you for the detailed answers! I do have a grey card so I will give it try in a couple of weeks in Komodo. For most dives I probably will have video lights with me as well. So I am thinking to use a flat colour profile without lights (and maybe a red filter) and auto white balance when using the lights. Will post some results when I am back. again thank you for your advise.
  5. I have been following this discussion with great interest, and learned a lot, thank you. I recently bought a Gopro and I'm planning to film in flat profile and colour grade the video with Davinci Resolve in post. Does it make sense to use a grey card and start each recording with videoing the grey card at the beginning so that I have a "white reference" to be used in post?
  6. Aquatic has done a comparison between the Insta 360 and DJI Action 4. The Insta 360 seem to produce very good video at least to my eye.
  7. Hi there, I am cleaning out some of my GoPro stuff as per attached pictures. It includes everything on the pictures which is: GoPro 7 BLACK, without memory card (seem to go on eBay for about 200 Euro) 2 x original GoPro batteries with double charger Backscatter Flip 7 (new 119.00 Euro) Backscatter + 15 Macro Lense. (new 90.00 Euro) Backscatter lense removel tool (red) GoPro original dive case Add. Dive case, bought this in Japan as I forgot the original dive case, was at -47m without problems. 3 x additional filters, fitting original dive case 2 x original back doors for GoPro original dive case Silicon case for GoPro Ultralight handle, tray and GoPro Mount Travel case Everything in good working condition. Difficult to determine the price but just by adding the above pricing of 200 + 119 + 90 = 409, Euros, 350 Euros including all the extra items + shipping, seems a fair offer. Wanted to offer this here before putting it on eBay. Any questions please ask.
  8. Nauticam Wet Wide Lens WWL-C (83203) Nauticam N50 short Port 17 with Bayonet Mount (38705) I’m selling my Nauticam WWL-C and N50 bayonet mount. I have only used it during one dive trip to Raja so in very good conditions, no scratches on glass. Comes in original travel case and boxes as shown on pictures. I am looking for 900 Euro + 200 Euro = 1100 + shipping Preference would be to only ship it within Germany.
  9. Another cold weekend here so I setup my gear with the printed adaptor plate for the Nauticam flexi tray. Even above water the setup is rock solid including the ball head. The tripod legs only just stay in place with the weight of the camera and light, but that should be no problem in-water. An issue might be to get low enough to the subject as the ball head adds quite a bit of height. Might have to look for a lower profile version of a ball head or even just use a "levelling ball head".
  10. Hi Davide, sure, just uploaded it. Hope I put it on the right place. Regards, Jochen
  11. attached are measurements and printable file for a flexitray adaptor with integrated Swiss arca plate. Would be interested if anyone is using it! Nauticam_SwissArca_Adaptor v23.f3d 3D Print adaptor.docx
  12. I have decided to 3D print an adaptor for the flexitray, with integrated Swiss arca plate mount.
  13. Hi there just moved over from wetpixel. My username there was JR1. Glad to the community continuous.
